“.ie. Irish domain. Shipped from UK. Does not state this on its website. Charged customs duty 1 week after paying espares for item and delivery. If espares.ie had declared all this information on their website I would not class them using false advertising and a SCAM company.”

“I was not informed that they are based in UK and EU customers must pay customs fees. Also they are not able to provide any information in relation to the status of the delivery and to the return. 10 days after I declined to pay the custom fees I am still waiting for my refund to be processed. Very unprofessional...”

“For Ireland, they pretend to be an Irish Business with Irish Website and Irish VAT ID. However, the goods are shipped from the UK and you will be forced to pay IE VAT + Admin Charges! Stay away if you order from Ireland.”

“Don't be fooled by the .ie web address. It's a British company so I got slapped with a customs charge, even though I paid for delivery as part of the price. There was also nowhere to contact them directly about this problem on their website. I wouldn't have given them a bad review if there was.”

“The difficult part is identifying appliance, but it fit’s just fine, cleaned brush contact surface and fitting assembly about 20 minutes, added a small cable tie the correct sensor carbon brush assembly, this was for a Miele T640 an older dryer. Does not come up on will this part fit my to support the poor brush cable clamp because of age. That’s it job done. Always turn power of at the mains socket.”

“I needed to replace the remote for my Panasonic Hard Disc recorder and knowing what a minefield this is, I went to Espares and found one fitting the description on their website. I have dealt with the firm several times before for parts and have always had great service from them; even so it was with great trepidation that I pressed the button to order. The device arrived very quickly and to my surprise, delight and relief worked perfectly. Good old Espares. It’s the go to place for me. While I’m here, I must congratulate Espares for their most helpful and clear on line videos. They are of the highest quality and an object lesson to any other would be tutorial maker. “WARNING- IRISH CUSTOMERS AVOID - PLEASE This company is ripping Irish customers off. Your will pay extensive Vat and couriour charges on top of what you pay online. You will pay at least half the bill again. €25 became € 35...We are now two weeks and more waiting for these simple hoover bags, and still have not got them.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY .. THEY ARE NOT IRISH... you will get ripped off, annoyed and their customer chat will even hang up on you. A V O I D”

“The top box front cover for my blomberg freezer was exactly like the one that broke well done. Some of the descriptions on some sites were not very clear the sizes would help.i have used spares before execelent service would definitely recommend.”

“When I ordered a lid for my Kenwood food chopper, it seemed it would be ages before delivery but I know companies are having supply/delivery problems so I want to bothered. Imagine my surprise when it arrived barely a week later, well packaged with a FREE GIFT of two stylish pencils & a biro - most unexpected! Ridiculously pleasing!”

“I was looking for a new handle for my Kenwood Freezer and found some at silly prices then found eSpares. They had just what I needed at sensible prices. I placed my order with standard delivery and received it after 48hrs! I was a little concerned if it wasn't the original item it wouldn't fit but I should not have been worried. The handle fitted perfectly and the hinge covers clipped on with no problems whatsoever. It has only been a week since I fitted the new handle so I can't comment about longevity but is working fine. Will buy again from this company.”

“I ordered a thermostat for a Neff fridge freezer but by the time it arrived, I realised that I had incorrectly set the temperature control and therefore did not require the spare part. The returns procedure was straightforward and I received confirmation of receipt by e Spares. The refund arrived promptly and Customer Service throughout was excellent.”
