Doors and window fitted years ago but now have massive draft coming through both. Got independent to have a look and he found half the screws missing from both. Normal reply, we are a new company we don't honour the old company warranty. Will not touch the new company with a barge pole, new style scammers.

Do NOT buy from this company, my lifetime guarantee means nothing as they put the company into receivership then 2/3 months later buy it back so everyone before it went into receivership have now lost their lifetime guarantee. PS the fitters that did my two windows and door were cowboys other fitters had to come and take the window out and refit it, and the door still not working properly but now can’t do anything but pay someone else to fix it. You have been warned.

If you are looking to have your windows/home improvements done, please DO NOT go with this company. All they're concerned about is getting their money!! Their workmanship is rubbish and staff are very rude.

First thing you should know about Everest is that they are owned by a private equity firm: Better Capital, after going into administration in 2020, voiding all previous customer's warranties then opening up again under a different company name 'Everest 2020 Limited'. Private equity firms are essentially the leaches of the business world, they suck out every drop of profit for their shareholders, cut corners everywhere they can to maximise them profits and keep any investment at minimum or zero, until the company again goes bust. My mother had been an Everest customer for over 40 years, paying a shocking amount of money to have her home done in high quality aluminium double glazing, back in the 80’s when Everest actually earned the title 'fit the best' now it should be 'fit if you’re lucky'. We, now looking back at it, stupidly opted to go with Everest for a back door replacement, thinking it would be the same exceptional service, unfortunately as stated at the start of this post, the impact of being owned by a private equity firm is taking its toll, customer service is none existent, if you managed to get through to someone, they are hard faced, rude and brash. It's only when they want their money do, they suddenly become proactive (8 times they rang my 70yo mother in one day, from 4 different numbers with 2 voicemails and 3 text messages, chasing the final amount of just over £200 only a couple of hours after fitting) then there is the fitting.......Of course all the sales patter is very fast, quick and efficient. But once they get the bulk of your money, it's like Russian roulette, after waiting weeks for a door to be built, our installation date of the 21st Dec was brought forward to the 8th Dec, fab! we thought, the 8th arrived, ‘’oh no, won't be fitted today’’, installer hurt himself, disgruntled we rebooked for the 16th Dec, the 16th arrived, ‘’oh no, it won't be fitted today’’, installer is ill, by this time we are understandably fuming, one of the people in the ‘’Customer Relations’’ department, who we can’t name on here, treated my mother as complete dirt, obnoxious and very unhelpful, she simply made the matter worse, how she is allowed to deal with customers is anyone’s guess. Hope someone will at lease heed my warning and avoid the now lengthy problems and stress we have had to endure, Everest is not the company it used to be, and indeed it never will be, it's on a level with the likes of Safestyle UK, go small or independent for your windows and doors, Everest is proof that a long guarantee means nothing, so you might as well support a more deserving business, than feeding the private equity vultures.

Had roofline fitted which meant scaffolding on house. Three weeks (and still counting) after fitted scaffolding still on house. Calls to Everest produced zero action. Abysmal customer service. Would advise anyone not to use this company.

This has been an appalling experience. An installer turned up in a van that was straight out of Only Fools and Horses, a set of golf clubs fell out and our expensive windows were buried amongst the junk inside. A pane was broken, and despite a 5 hour visit from a surveyor, the trims were the wrong size. We had asked for some floor covering and shoe covering to be used as we had laid new carpets in one rooom. The installer had neither of these things. He left the job unable to complete it and we had another long wait of several weeks before someone else turned up and said that his predecessor could have fixed the windows on site. He said that he had done a bad job, and he was now spendinghis time visiting various sites toput matters right. Work carrying on in the house which had been timed around this had to be delayed. We were offered £150 compensation which was later withdrawn. A rude, unprofessional company whom I would recommend be avoided at all costs.

Avoid this compnay like the plague! Awful customer service, installers were rude, one of them peed on the outside of my house even though we had a working toilet (they were even installing the window in the toilet room??!), laughed at me and turned up late every single day (took more days than needed as they were only working half days due to turning up so late). When installed there were cracks and chips in the windows, there were draughts coming through the windows and doors, the windows didn’t shut correctly so we had the heating on full throughout winter for months until it was finally fixed! All they offered was £300 off the £10,000 bill. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I researched more into the reviews seeing so many bad ones after using them! Caused so much unneeded stress and anxiety. Disgusting.

Refusing to honour their 10 year warranty Everest "went out of business" during lockdown. Now they are back. However, by claiming to be a new business they are refusing to honour the 10 year warranties for ANYTHING they sold and installed before lockdown. So my pensioner mother has been forced to pay herself to replace the roof in her conservatory after it developed multiple leaks. This conservatory was less than 7 years old and still well within the 10 year warranty. But the "new" Everest claim they don't have to honour it since it was the "old" Everest who sold and installed the conservatory. Absolute disgrace.

Salesman Tom turned up twenty minutes late without explanation or apology. That was fine because he seemed lovely on arrival. However when we started to get into the details of the windows, he insistently criticised other window companies to sell his own company. I kept asking him but how are Everest windows and installations better but he was unable to tell me what was so special about Everest fitters or installation other than other companies are worse and their installations are worse. I did not appreciate this lack of facts or the approach that to sell their product they bad mouth other companies. I explained this to him but he was unable to give me any useable information about the windows I was trying to get a quote for. I tried to get something tangible from the conversation but no facts were offered. He told me to go and watch the windows being installed and then I would understand. I simply wanted him to back up his claims about the quality he said was the selling point with some basic information. This was not available. I decided after fifteen minutes that receiving a quote would be pointless as I had no gage of the quality of Everest, just that other companies were unreliable and low quality. So I asked for the quote to be cancelled so I could find someone who knows the product and processes they are talking about. From the stories on here I am glad that I have avoided a company that has gone into administration who offers such poor service. Thanks and best wishes to all window shoppers out there 😃

Shocking service. The windows do not seal. Six months later and several visits from so called engineers and still the units do not seal. First the windows were bowed and had to be straightened by forcing into position, then I am told the gaskets are the wrong size, now I am told it is a manufacturing problem but I have no date for rectification. Avoid this company.

I was given a quote ...wait for it good people....(a jaw dropping... £40,000), just for new windows covering a one story, 2 bed bungalow. This was without the Replacement of a small existing conservatory(no need for a base)... was another £30 grand on top....I mean SERIOUSLY!. That is a grand total of £70,000, without touching anything else in the property that needs doing. I nearly dropped in a heap, right then and there in front of the sales guy. I had a twisted combination of a smile and painful expression. The sales man then suddenly drops the window cost to £13,000..just like that .The look on my face must of been award winning for all the wrong reasons...His thoughts, the writing on his wall of possibly losing his sale. Obviously this company has no integrity . They must be in the business of seeing how much they can milk out of people....literally..suck people dry. I only hope for those who have paid got their monies worth..But from the comment section it seems sadly not(which is why I wanted to leave my recent experience). My advice ...AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

My in-laws bought a front door from Everest 2020 in March 2021. To this day over 9 months they have not had a satisfactory replacement letterbox. The letterbox which came with the door is not fit for purpose. It prevents the door from opening fully which should have been picked up on when measuring took place. This company have come 3 times with the same style letterbox for replacement - useless if the first one is not right. That’s on top of the times they went to fix a leak and draughts. They were supposed to go yesterday- they say they went twice and no one was in. My in-laws stayed in all day for the letterbox to be changed. The appointment was for between 8am and 10am. They claim to have gone at 12.30pm and 1.30pm. My in-laws were in all day, why would they go out when they expected a person to come to replace the letterbox after all this time. The door had a leak and draughts when first fitted these were fixed but took along time for the company to fix. My in-laws asked me to take over their situation with Everest because they found it all too stressful. Both are in their eighties and with ill health. Go to another company for your doors . A company that treats their customers with care and respect and who does a job properly for a reasonable cost.

I've been so disappointed by Everest. A sales person came around for a quote but didnt have any picture to show. Than, we had to wait for more than a week to get a quote and it was £33 000 for a porch!!!!! All of that without being able to even chose the style of the roof or the door. I emailed back to ask for clarifications and they never answered. What a joke of a company. We are now building the porch with Anglian. So much more professional.

Absolutely shocking experience. Ordered 3 sash windows for our 18th century house and based on previous experience we expected the best.Paid over £3k deposit for a £7.5K job High price but you pay for quality ? BUT the windows, all 3 had been wrongly measured and could not be fitted. And if this was not enough we now learn that the fitter will not get paid. He and his mate tried their best and even called out the Everest seniors to check the job. Shabby treatment all round and we wait for our money back. Will not be using them again . Post script- Everest will not return the money I paid. Unethical, incompetent, unreliable, negligent. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
