“We were addicted to Pukka pies - until recently. There is hardly any filling now - not even gravy. Obviously at the price, not much meal was expected but three or four tiny pieces of chicken was a disappointment. The shell of the pastry was left.

“If I could give 0 stars that it was I would give as 1 star is being generous Purchased the pepperoni pizza pie for my son. Cut into it and had very little filling. 2 small thin slices of pepperoni which were about 1cm round, thin layer of tomato sauce and that was it. The box showed the pie oozing with filling , ours did not have any cheese. My son was looking forward to trying the new pie but was certainly disappointed.”

Have never experienced anything like it. Wouldn't even think about buying them again. Should be ashamed of themselves.”

We had a pukka pie for two from Sainsbury’s and I must say it was the worst pie I have ever had, if you can’t make a decent pie for that price then charge more and make it edible, we will never buy a pukka pie again and it has even made us think twice about shopping in Sainsbury’s.
