“I today purchased an All Steak Pukka Pie from Sainsburys on the Upper Richmond Road in Putney. The was NO STEAK in it. Just gravy. Absolute disgrace and why on earth are Sainsburys stocking this rubbish”

I had a Chicken and Mushroom pie too....very little chicken and the pieces I had were that of a typical uniformed chunk of cheap Thailand Chicken breast, lacked flavour too. Pukka aren't what they were a few years ago.”

“I used to be a fan of these pies cos they were really bait better than rest. But no more. Just finished a steak pie that had ONE a piece of beef so they can’t be done under the trade description act. But calling it a gravy pie would be more honest. Never again.”
“I have been a fan of pukka all steak pies for ages. However it seems that when Tesco sell them on special at £1 the meat is limited to tiny pieces and not the tender chunks that I enjoyed.
Will not be buying them again until the quality improves”

“Worst pie ever, if you like pastry then you'll be fine as honestly that's all there is alongside gravy. Good job they were on offer as I would never pay full price for something that did not live up to description. If it describes "a steak pie" then I do expect to actually have more than a couple of bits of meat.”
