“The item I ordered was out of stock with their suppliers (not stated anywhere) i waited a week, no delivery and only found out when I sent an email. The item was eventually dispatched about ten days after I ordered it”

Hi Gareth, looking at our records, it does appear that we tried to contact you, unfortunately there was no response and our phone call was never returned. When you emailed us (several days later), we did reply to this in a timely manner and inform you of the current status of the order. This particular item had gone out of stock, both here and with our suppliers. However, they did have new stock arriving imminently and we dispatched the order as soon as possible. If you had contacted us back sooner, we could have looked at alternative products for you or simply cancelled and refunded the order. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. “I bought both micro silent brown/black field crickets. The arrival time of my purchase was very quick and the packaging was also to a pretty high stardard. Although, there were no air holes within the plastic containers themself and a very small, dried up (spinach) leaf. Now, although the black field crickets came to me in a fair number to feed my animals. The silent brown crickets had pretty much all died off. Granted these things are likely to happen. Esspecially with crickets. Just a thought for other buyers.”

Hi Daniel, The lack of air holes is actually deliberate, as the crickets will escape through them, unlike the larger sizes. The cabbage is put in each micro tub to provide some food/moisture for the insects. Micro crickets won't last more than a few days under normal circumstances (especially at this time of year), so if you need something that lasts a bit longer, we'd recommend bean weevil and fruit fly cultures as alternatives. “Ordered 2 Red Eyed Tree Frogs. They arrived when they were meant to and in perfect health. Had them for a week now and couldn't be happier with them. Customer service was knowledgeable and very friendly. If it comes up again that I can't find what I'm looking for locally, Exotic-Pets will definitely be my first port of call.”
