“The guy on the desk at Kerikeri airport was very helpful & friendly & as we walked out to the parking area I was pleased to see a new rego bright coloured car waiting for us. The excitement didn’t last long - it was an old presumably ‘Japanese import’ bone shaker that barely made it up the many hills. Yes the car was clean & in good condition but very disappointing to drive & considering the cost of it at $60 per day (plus $30 per day to reduce our insurance excess from $2500 to $250 ) we were bitterly disappointed . We will certainly look around more next time we visit the Bay of Islands - there must be better deals than this!”

“Great service all round. No queues on arrival, car was what we had ordered and clean and tidy. No problems at all and much cheaper than the “big boys”. Will definitely use them again when we return to the North.”

“Booking was easy via website picked up / dropped off vehicle at the Kaitaia central location ,late model Toyota Corolla was clean and reliable. The guys were very easy to deal with and extremely friendly. Would certainly recommend Far North rentals.”

“Good service, friendly and helpful. The front drivers seat wouldn't stay as high as it would pump up. It seemed to just slip down to the lowest position quickly meaning I was quite low seeing over the steering wheel.”
