“Delivery was efficient and the meat was well packed. The quality was good. We ordered a turkey thigh circle and a beef wellington. They were both tiny, much smaller than we anticipated, which made them seem expensive as a result.”

“Nice products, well packaged and put together, and tasted great. One small issue is that the estimated cooking time on the Turkey Galantine recipe card was slightly inaccurate, which left the legs/thighs slightly undercooked. Aside from that, would highly recommend!”

“Great communication, delivered on time, use by dates all as expected or better. Really great service. One thing I would say is although the beef wellington cooked perfectly, it was very bland especially given the duxelles is infused with Madeira. I’m not disappointed (my wife had made a fantastic red wine sauce that helped the flavour immensely!), these thing happen but I am likely to make my own next time.”

“The food I ordered from Farmison for Christmas arrived on time as ever an excellent service however the luxury beef wellington priced at £120 was just not worth that amount, it tasted fine the beef was first class, the rest of the product was a complete disapointment and for that price I would have expected a larger beef wellington and of better quality.”

“The food was amazing, especially the Ribeye steaks, which were very tender. My only complaint would be the curry, which was delivered on the 24/12 for consumption before 25/12 so sadly went straight in the bin. A minimum use by dates should be included in the ordering.”

“The delivery came on time. Ordering easy. The meat was good. However, it was £30 more expensive than the same I bought the previous year and although I am in a great believer of welfare meat etc. I think I am priced out of buying this again.”

“We found Farmison in the first lockdown and we haven't looked back. We have the family box (I think) and the meat is always excellent. The box offers both standard bits like bacon, chicken etc but also throws in the occasional surprise like "butcher steak" which always goes down well. We've noticed the difference in taste and whilst it's a little more money at least we know the meat is sustainable and ethical. One suggestion is to include recipe cards / cooking guides with the box for the meat included.”

“I bought an Easy Carve Turkey Galantine with Bacon & Winter Fruits and added some turkey gravy to the order as I never have enough to satisfy my family. The Galantine was excellent and my fears that there may be too high a proportion of stuffing in relation to the meat were totally unrealised. Following the instructions provided gave us a perfectly roasted bird and it was definitely easy to carve. If we had any tiny quibble it was that the strings tying the bird got entangled in the bacon so it was difficult to serve diners with a reasonable piece of bacon, and certainly not a complete rasher. The gravy was also a little watery. However, the meat was excellent and is likely to bring you new customers as well as my repeat business. Thank you for helping to make our Christmas dinner extra special.”

“The service was very good, the only reason I have not given five stars is not because of how the order was handled but the meat was not as flavorsome as I was hoping. The presentation, the look, how tender it was were fantastic, just not quite as tasty as I was hoping for”

“Excellent turkey ballotines. Cooked as recommended and came out perfectly for Christmas! Only downside is the packaging is large and a faff. They say you can send it back for a credit towards a next purchase but that all takes time.”
