“Great quality of meat, and I really appreciated the range of prepared products available ahead of Christmas, but was disappointed by lack of attention to detail in one of the prepared products I bought, presumably down to seasonal pressure.”

“Good meat and you can trace where it comes from. It is pricier than supermarket meat but well worth it to know its origins (and means we eat less meat). It's a shame you only get a "spend" voucher to send the packaging back.”

“Parcel arrived on time and well packed but had been battered in transit with the result that the red wine sauce ordered had burst and covered the other goods. Sent a message to customer services who apologised and were kind enough to offer a refund which I accepted but never received. Beef Wellington was delicious though.”

“There are company's out there, which share the same ethical and moral views as F& Co & I think they should all be comended. I have made purchases from several of them, but have found the service & most importantly the produce to be equal to &the most economical out of all of them. F& Co should not only expand in this particular field but also consider the wider artisan market ? I have recently invested in one of your competitors on the crowdcube platform, pitty it wasn't you. I buy most of my ethical products from various sources, come on F& Co get on it it will save more packaging etc, etc,etc as the yul bringer once said . I do not like your wood shavings they get all over my kitchen”

“I'm unable to help with a comprehensive review as I have not yet sampled all the products I purchased. However the pork pie was excellent. Stripped beef stir-fry tomorrow, and smoked gammom ham next weekend. I should then be able to offer a full review. Products more expensive than most ,so hope it will be worth the extra money. Keith Nuttall”

“Ordered duck galantine and 2 sauces. Very pleased with delivery experience and really good packaging. Duck was lovely but slightly disappointed with the sauces hence only 4 stars. I would use again, though not bother with sauces.”

“The quality of the meat and important work done to protect breeds is very commendable. Occasionally there are one or two products that don’t live up to the price paid, such as the burgers. Overall a very good company with one or two products falling a little under par.”

“Beef Wellington was a Xmas gift. The recipient thought the quality of the meat was excellent but that the mushroom coating was much too thick & detracted from the dish. The pastry was very good. I have used Farmison before & the quality is always superb. The delivery was poor as the parcel was left on doorstep & could have easily been stolen!”
