“Excellent meat delivery! We were so pleased with the prompt and easy ordering and delivery process. Our Turkey came on time on the date we selected and was packed exquisitely for freshness. Upon preparation and cooking I must admit that the taste, flavour and quality of our meat surpassed other years when we have purchased elsewhere. I highly recommend Farmison & Co, in addition their contact/information staff are extremely reassuring and helpful!”

“Ordered topside beef, picnic ham and some hotdogs, but when delivered the beef was missing. A WhatsApp took a couple of hours for a reply and revealed that there was a "stocking issue" (is that code for "we forgot" or theyd run out?). Cooked the beef on Sunday and it was very very subpar, pretty tasteless and not a great texture. Our dog seemed happy though 🤣 In fairness, other items I've ordered have been top notch, and will probably order again... just not their beef.”

“Very disappointed with the cut of the ham. What was displayed online is not what arrived and it required me to purchase another ham elsewhere. On the positive side the quality of the other items I purchased were very good and on that basis I would consider purchasing again from Farmison. I am still very grieved that I have not had a response from Farmison although told they would get back to me and they haven't.”

“Our Christmas meat order fell way below expectations in quality so that I felt it necessary to write with my feedback to Customer Service. I did not feel that my concerns were then dealt with satisfactorily. I will not be ordering again.”

“I am 80yrs old lived on a farm, so I was expecting first class rib joint which cost 66 pounds 97 pence. What I received was rotten turning black near bone and smelt absolutely disgusting, unfit to eat so much so my dogs wouldn't look at it I sent a message after I received it yesterday but no answer, plus it was not a full boned piece”

“Very easy to order, delivery excellent, customer service couldn't be better and a large sirloin roast was enjoyed by everyone - enjoyed far too much, I thought, as I had cunning plans to put just a few smallish pieces of beef with fat on them in the oven for later. Sadly, everyone else maintained they too, were on high-fat/protein diets! The meat was marbled nicely and very tender. It's good to have some new ideas from the recipes available on the website accompanying each cut of meat. We were so pleased with the sirloin roast, It's tempting to want everything available.”

“Ordered twice from Farmison, and both times the quality of service has been exactly as outlined. More importantly, the quality of the product has far exceeded expectations. The trimmed forerib of beef almost received a round of applause as it was brought to the table, and tasted even better than it looked. Seriously impressive meat for those who are serious about their food.”

“Well, what can I say? The best pigs in blankets I have ever eaten, and husband was in ecstasies over the black pudding for breakfast on Boxing Day; certainly as good as or better than the Stornoway one we have eaten on our many trips to the Isle of Mull. Excellent service too. Thank you.”

“I have had several orders since 2020. 2022 Christmas delivery, paid in September to get reduced price offer and all arrived on time. Fillet of beef okay but not as tender or flavourful as previous orders, cooked ham lovely but ballotine of turkey was too tough to eat despite cooking as instructed. So disappointing. I have mostly had good experience with Farmison but will try other suppliers. For top prices I want top eating.”

“I did not receive the pigs in blankets I ordered for delivery on 23rd December. Apparently the packers were busy. I understand that customer service are now too busy to reply to my emails. I have received no refund, no proper apology and no recompense for having no pigs in blankets on Christmas Day for as long as I can remember. Absolutely atrocious customer service”

“Once again this year we got our turkey from Farmison, and once again the meat was truly outstanding. We bought a turkey ballotine - boned and ready stuffed - so it was super simple to carve, tasty, succulent and tender. This year we also bought pigs in blankets, sausages, cranberry sauce and a creamy potato dish, all of which were delicious. Ordering and delivery were really straightforward, with no fuss queuing at the supermarket.”

“I bought my meat for Christmas from Farmison on the recommendation of my daughter. Lamb shoulder (marinated overnight with middle eastern spices then cooked for 8 hours at Gas mark 2 and it was the star of the show) and a Turkey Breast (cooked as per instructions for the recommended time and basted every 15mins). They were both outstanding in quality and taste. Thank you.”
