“WOW. Quite simply wow. Had the hand-trimmed centre-cut fillet. Cooked brilliantly and ate even better. Had for an 80th birthday celebration and everyone loved it. Soft, buttery and full of flavour. Also ordered Ripon Cathedral Back Bacon and Nidderdal Sausage for a Full English the following day and that did not disappoint either. Bacon as it should be! Also, an order of beef bones, which made a fabulous stock and satisfied the hounds after being used for the stock. Will definitely be ordering again.”

“I travel all over the country and have to say that the Farmison & Co meat is the best out there. Not just in quality and taste, but also choice. I love the recipes also on their website as they are all cookable even by a novice like me. Wow factor all round.”

“The meat I have purchased from Farmison has always been of the highest quality and is competitively priced. I also recommend the prepared meals, especially the Tagine and Green Thai Curry. Delivery is always spot on and everything packaged well.”

“I saw an article in the Times about pies, so went onto the website, living in a rural village options to buy good quality meat is not good, had a delivery which came on time well packed with cool bags, the beef pork and sausage were incredible full of flavour, Liked that you can return the box and get a credit for your next order.”

“Overall the meat products ordered were as expected; however, the wild mallard duck was smaller than expected. I seemed to recall somewhere that the duck would be about 1 Kg in weight, but the weight of my duck was below 600 gm. Excellent delivery time though.”

“Ordered the beef Wellington Meal for Valentines night dinner and was so disappointed. The beef was tough and the potato dauphinois dry and not at all creamy. The best thing about the meal was the jus. Not what I expected from Farmison as my previous purchases have been very good.”

“The mangaliza pork is so good I ordered the pork belly last time. There was no flesh to speak of, just one big slab of lard. I would like to know what to do with it Farmison's please? I cut it into 4 chunks and it is in the freezer waiting for inspiration. I will order pork again, especially mangaliza, but I wouldn't order the belly joint as I think whoever sent it out must have realised it would be inedible. Sorry!”

“Delivery was exactly on time (set a date for delivery), the quality of the steak was amazing -beautiful marbling. The reason for the lost star is because the New York Rib Chops we ordered were cut at a bit of an angle so they didn't cook evenly - kind of important for a steak. That said, it would not stop me from ordering from here again.”
