“Just received my second Ham,very fatty not a good piece,won’t be ordering again”

“The quality of the meat varied, some was excellent eg the Pork chops. The beef mince was about the same quality as the mince we buy from the supermarkets. The beef joint (topside) was disappointing, chewy and gristly, The meat was more expensive than we usually buy and the amount of packaging used meant that we won’t be buying from you again. It was a useful experiment, but not to be repeated!”

“Disappointed in lamb……lot of uneatable gristle inspite of slow roasting. Good quality braising beef, but cut far too small. Do you sell whole steak that could be cut to size as preferred ?”

“I had very high expectations from Farmison and especially as they were recommended by Big Green Egg, I enjoyed the meat but I have also had better from the local warehouse and much cheaper. I liked the service and speed of service but its no it the best of the best.”

“Sadly, we were massively underwhelmed by our joint of mutton. We slow cooked it according to the suggested recipe, but had to continue cooking for some time thereafter to render it edible. Can't say it was bad, it just did not meet our, admittedly high, expectations. Our chicken was fine, but, again, not as fabulous as the price would have led us to hope. We did want to be positive, unfortunately, disappointed and will not be using your company again.”

“After having many deliveries from Farmison, all of which I have been highly satisfied with the great quality of the meat, I was disappointed with the service of my last order. I’ve since hesitated o order again.”

“Ordered Beef Wellington for 2. Very disappointing. Meat portion very small and both ends of Wellington packed with Mushroom not meat. For the price paid the quality was poor. Thankfully ordered two lots and served 3 people. Would not order again. Packaging very excessive and delivered by DPD”

“I ordered chateaubriand steak, beef dripping chips and peppercorn sauce for Valentine’s Day meal. The steak was nice but I feel overpriced for what it was. The beef dripping chips were greasy and overpowered by the flavour of the beef dripping which spoilt them and made them inedible. Very pricey at £6.95 of which I ordered 2 packs as 1 pack is not enough for two people. The peppercorn sauce was nice but at £8.95 too expensive for the very small pot. Overall very disappointing!”

“Farmison delivers a great product. However , every time I order, there are items missing from the order. I tell them and I get the same word for word apologetic order and they sort the problem 3 days later. Why can’t they get it right first time around?”

“Good quality but disappointed that the ready meals I ordered had already been frozen and were defrosted when they reached me (and as per the instructions on the packets were not to be frozen again). All were within a few days of their use by date. I’ll stick with Pipers Farm in the future.”

“Not impressed, the chateaubriand was tender but not very tasty, the steak was tough and the pigs in blankets were too herby for my taste. Not worth the money, I’ll stick with my local butcher.”
