“Good quality meats which aren't factory farmed. It's not cheap but it's good and I've never been disappointed with the meat. The packaging could be better as the last two boxes have been wet and damaged.”

“Customer service, information, and delivery all excellent. Packaging also excellent. To give a better review of the meat, I should have ordered the larger piece of lamb shoulder, or cooked a different recipe. The meat was good, but, in this case, no better than the meat I buy from my local farm shop. I might try other meats, and cuts.”

“Sadly my recent purchase of centre cut fillet steak was not as good as my previous purchases of this item which were pretty awesome, i had to trim off several pieces of gristle and fat before cooking a beef wellington which was cooked to medium, on cutting and eating we found the meat a little tough.”

“We ordered the beef wellington and thought taste wise, it was excellent. However, there were some small holes in the pastry so some juice did leak. Overall I am happy with the service and would recommend Farmison's.”

“Ordering and delivery was good. Parcelforce could have been better as they dumped on doorstep and drove away, being nearly 9 months pregnant and in the house by myself, I struggled to get it in the house. Packaged well with ice packs. The turkey was lovely if a litte dry but most turkeys are drier than chicken!”

“Our order for Christmas arrived on time as expected - great customer service who promptly changed the delivery address when our plans had to change. The cooked dry cured turkey was exceptional - the most delicious, tender and moist turkey we've ever eaten. The gravy was also good, but roast potatoes just ok - seemed to need much longer than stated to crisp up but we had to just roll with it since everything else was ready.”

“Order arrived today on time, box was damaged as one of the bags with ice had split and some blood had leaked from one of the cuts of meat but they look okay and where still chilled. Maybe some extra padding to stop contents moving around may help in the future.”

“Delighted to find Farmisons and order a good variety of free range and heritage meats. The delivery to Scotland goes very well in a tight freezer box. The price is probably about right for the quality you get.”

“Excellent service, the lamb chops were superb (albeit expensive) and we enjoyed the breakfast sausages but we found the smoked back bacon disappointing it was too salty and would prefer thicker rashers.”

“Delivery on time well packaged and meat kept cold. Tasty belly pork not tried the steaks and black pudding yet. But if like other meet I have received from Farmison they will no doubt be delicious”

“I like ordering from Farmison and the varied choice of meat, ordering is easy and arrives when stipulated. The only reason for 8/10 is that the meat hasn't always been perfect. I have had 3 great BBQ brisket but one quite poor and the recent bone marrow burgers were poor compared to the ones I buy in a similar price bracket from Waitrose, but I have also had some great meat and please bring your featherblade steak back as that what fantastic.”

“Was very disappointed when you had to close for a while but glad you are back. Your customer service is excellent as is your delivery service. Hope you bring back your different breeds, and be cautious of prices, not everyone can afford them in these hard times… but I’m so glad YOUR BACK!!!”

“Was apprehensive about ordering meat on line but it is delivered well packaged with ice blocks to keep the meat nice and cold Favorites are the Beef Rump, Beef Sirloin and Brisket joints. Can taste the difference with the chicken and the Tri Tip steak is just yum. Have also bought the beef cubed steak and beef mince and on offer is not much different to the super market price but so much tastier. Have had the Lamb rolled shoulder joint and leg of lamb again delicious - I suppose I am a fan. I haven't given the full 5 stars as a bit disappointed with the burgers we ordered but you can't like everything - Looking forward to them being up and running again”

“I have used Farmison several times and have been very pleased. We particularly like the skinned and boned chicken thighs which are a good size and very tasty. We recently tried the ready made chilli which was very tasty, I added extra beans and some smoked paprika to it. Not so keen on the chicken Kiev it was a bit gamey for my taste.”

“Overall the meat products ordered were as expected; however, the wild mallard duck was smaller than expected. I seemed to recall somewhere that the duck would be about 1 Kg in weight, but the weight of my duck was below 600 gm. Excellent delivery time though.”

“Delivery was exactly on time (set a date for delivery), the quality of the steak was amazing -beautiful marbling. The reason for the lost star is because the New York Rib Chops we ordered were cut at a bit of an angle so they didn't cook evenly - kind of important for a steak. That said, it would not stop me from ordering from here again.”
