“I have had several orders since 2020. 2022 Christmas delivery, paid in September to get reduced price offer and all arrived on time. Fillet of beef okay but not as tender or flavourful as previous orders, cooked ham lovely but ballotine of turkey was too tough to eat despite cooking as instructed. So disappointing. I have mostly had good experience with Farmison but will try other suppliers. For top prices I want top eating.”

“Unbelievable meat. Fantastic service. A bit worried about their new delivery partner though...delivery service was not as smooth this year and no one needs that kind of panic at Christmas.”

“The Xmas box I had from you was very good, but the rib of beef was too big for us really, and I didn't cook it long enough, We don't, like meat too underdone, ours was a bit pink but a lot of chewy fat, so wasted a lot more than I wanted. Still, a lesson learnt”

“The Christmas beef was brilliant, will definately have it again. The Chicken Ballotines had visual appeal , however not so good in the eating. Over all great”

“Meat as always superb. Unfortunately not all of what I ordered arrived, which meant a rush out to get replacements. I reported the issue as soon as the delivery arrived but it took 36 hours for a response following a chase via email.”

“Service is very good from ordering to delivery. I was disappointed with my smoked gammon this year it wasn't as good as last years even though it was cooked the same boiled. I found it tough-ish and rather dry with very little smoke flavour it was more like a plain one.”

“All delivered on time, well prepred and packed and the cooking instructions were absolutely right. Could have just done with more of the cranberry stuffing to have added a bit more 'zing' to the three bird roast.”

“I am a big fan of Farmison and what they stand for. I would much rather pay more money to know where my produce has come from, safe in the knowledge that the animals have been treated with respect. The quality is obvious, and I have been happy with every item I have ordered.”

“The beef cubes I ordered were slow cooked in a caserole and were extremely tender with no toughness. The beef mince was of a high quality but disappointingly had several small chunks of bone which detracted from the eating experience as you detected them in the mouth and because of this I was unable to share the bolognese sauce I made with my elderly parents.”

“Great service, perfect delivery etc Kept in the box which was delivered arrived on the 22nd. Cooked the turkey as per instructions on the website.. Turkey was completely raw in the middle after 2hrs cooking, and 1hr resting which suggests it might have been frozen when shipped? No problem with that at all but perhaps you should change the cooking instructions? In the end I chucked it in the microwave for 15 minutes and it actually tasted amazing! Just a bit stressful when cooking for 14..”

“I placed my first order for my meat for Christmas Dinner, so was hopeful that all would be OK. Thankfully it was as good as I'd hoped. I'd ordered a large Turkey breast, stuffed Turkey legs and a gammon joint and all turned out to be very nice - albeit I'd overcooked the ham. Package was delivered on time and was well packed, with good communication of anticipated time of delivery. Will not hesitate to use again.”

“We really like the taste and texture of their meat. In particular, lamb cutlets, spatchcock chicken and turkey. Their Wiltshire cured ham was the best ham we ever tasted. Not yet 5 stars because the texture of their sausages is not yet top notch. If they can match the taste and texture of other leading artisan producers and get rid of the sulphites, preservatives and other additives, we would definitely buy more. Also, there is room for improvement on their ready meals and pastry range. Their meat is great tasting but their chiefs don't always do their meat justice.”

“My order was the beef fore rib with bone marrow and parsley Although the flavour of the meat was fantastic it was extremely fatty , which meant that the ‘eye ‘ of the joint was in fact very small and was surrounded by layers of fatty meat I would re-order from Farmison but not this joint based on this experience”
