“I was a bit disappointed with the goose, not much meat, a great amount of fat. I was also sent a code for weight reduction, I have been unable to use it, no provision found on website”

“Excellent meat but could do with a wider range of food. Suggest more finished photography! Slightly miffed that I suggested gravy some time ago but you ran out when I needed it!!”

“Most things I bought were perfect and as expected however the pigs in blankets were disappointing. The bacon hardly went round the rather lack lustre sausages. I shall do them myself in future”

“First time customer. Good selection, easy to order and make amends. Delivery was as they said it would be and the product arrived chilled and well packaged. I had missed the bit about upgrading to have returnable packaging so will look out for that in the future. We had the beef wellingtons for 2 and they were fine but felt a little dry. Bit for ready made they were comparable to those that Waitrose use to do. Will try other products in the future”

“The steak pie and fillet were fantastic but the ham was far far too salty, and in fact, inedible. Would most definitely have the pie again!”

“I ordered beef fillet to make a beef wellington . The piece of meat was amazing. Also recommend the dauphinoise potato . The only problem I had is with the delivery was not on time or when I booked. But this was due to DPD .”

“the click and collect is an excellent feature, I live in the area and had driven past but don’t eat a lot of meat - when we do we like to make sure it’s super high quality, and we were feeding 14 so I opted to smoke two bone in briskets. Both were over the advertised weight which was nice to see, and the flavours were honestly incredible, the only reason this isn’t a 5 is that one of the briskets left us with about 50% less meat than the other due to a huge pocket of fat, if the other was the same there wouldn’t have been enough to feed everyone but broadly speaking I’d come back to buy from farm is on, and recommends others to do the same.”

“The rib was excellent quality and very tender but hardly any fat not as the illustration, a good layer would have added to the flavour, there was barely 3mm it looked as if most had been cut off.”

“We were very pleased with the quality of the meat in the Beef Wellington, but I am sorry to say that we were disappointed on opening it to find that the pastry was split in several places and spoilt the appearance. Whilst we tried to gently press it together, once cooked it split open again and juices ran out. You had come highly recommended, so this being our first time, we were a little disappointed.”

“Generally the quality of the meat was excellent both the Turkey crown and the green Thai curry. The sauce was likewise but the stuffing in the Turkey was less popular and didn’t retain its taste well. I was more concerned with a delivery which I paid additional money for to be delivered before 12 midday and DPD did not perform at all well and delivered at 15.30 in the afternoon. Fortunately it all worked out but it was not as stated on your website and you should know that they will not help your customer service ratings”
