“Great service but a bit of mixed advice re arranging a safe place to leave. Plus not allowing me to order an item because the delivery day would be after the offer had finished ??. All a bit stressful and time consuming. Otherwise would be 5stars. This needs to be more customer friendly, ie done at point of sale NOT to suit courier!!!”

“Really good meat. I have tried the black pudding and pork belly steaks. The packaging is excellent but not environmentally friendly. Perhaps you could improve on that somehow? Delivery was quick but left on the doorstep, which is not so good. Last time was better, he rang the doorbell. Leaving it with the neighbour would have been better.”

“Braising and stewing steak both very good, nice and tender. The pork joint was very disappointing though. Virtually half of it was fat. While I appreciate the presence of fat is useful when cooking the amount was really over the top. Consequently we had very small servings of meat.”

“The rib eye steaks are superb. Unfortunately I paid extra for a special breed, but didn’t receive what I ordered, so ended up paying more for a heritage steak. The difference wasn’t refunded. Disappointing.”

“I believe Farmisons are doing a fantastic job in their efforts tomaintain rare breed farm stock. I do hav a couple of winges. I contacted the company some time ago regarding menus and why actual recipies, cooking instructions are not included with the order. Plus when asking why these items are not included in the order the company told me to look on web site yet the company happily sends promotions for other products with an order with cooking instructions. Also the last order I had was a half leg of mutton which unfortunately was very very fatty. I am not too sure re mutton but in my opinion the butcher when the particular animal was butchered surely it was obvious that the fat content was extremely high for a half leg joint! However all above I will continue using Farmisons but hope the company listens to feedback and acts. Thank you.”

“The second pie was nicer than the first. After I got the pies I rang you to get cooking times and temperature . Surprised they weren’t in the package. They made an inquiry and said 110 for 40 minutes. I think it was over cooked. Second one I did at 180 for 25 minutes. It was delicious.”

“Very pleased with my first purchase. I dropped a star because I panicked ( not really!) over the pre frozen black pudding. It was delicious, but I was unsure about whether I could freeze it again. Perhaps you could clarify that in the instructions? I did use your Help service but it took 2 days to get a reply, which just confused me more! Should have phoned……”
