“Half my order was missing when delivered today. Couldn't get through to any staff so left messages. Farmison called me and promised to delive the missing item tomorrow in time for Christmas. Just seen the email confirmation. First half looks great quality!”

“The quality of the produce is excellent - I've only ever ordered ribeye steaks (from various breeds) all were delicious and had great marbling through the meat. I took one star off for the delivery company they use. I was in all day on the day of the last delivery and no one knocked. I got an email saying my parcel had been left in a safe place. There was a picture of a bin and the package was on the floor (it was raining). Luckily the number was on the bin (it wasn't mine) and I had to go on a jaunt to the other end of my road to find my delivery behind someone else's bin. Perhaps you could make sure your delivery company, delivers.”

“We ordered once before about 2 years ago, the meat was the best we had ever tasted, so we decided to order some more for an special event in November. The delivery was fantastic and packaged very well, But this time the steak were much smaller than before and the meat was good but not like before.. I would order again but maybe try something else.”

“Haven't eaten the meat that I ordered yet, but it looks delicious and was priced fairly. Delivery was 2 days earlier than expected which meant I wasn't home to accept the package. This was a little frustrating as I had chosen a specific delivery date, knowing I would be home. However, the package was sufficiently chilled so my order was not compromised. The order came in a large polystyrene box, which had to be thrown out, as my council do not recycle this. Would be great if Farmison could use more environmentally friendly packaging in future! I order food from another business that comes in a strong cardboard box, with degradable stuffing and reusable cool packs, so know this is a possibility.”

“I love this company. Great products, good heritage, good variety, efficient deliveries and very good customer service. The only reason for 4, not 5, stars is the website can be a bit flaky sometimes, I don’t like the polystyrene packaging for the parcels and prices can be a bit eye watering. I understand the pricing but if it makes me pause before buying sometimes I can’t in all honesty give it 5. Do not hesitate to use them though. You won’t be sorry.”

“Great produce, loads of variety. Meat connoisseurs paradise. Wish we could amend orders, had to do it via customer services and they forgot to ship my amended order. Can't be bothered to go through the faff to get it sorted out though.”

“The meat (a porchetta joint) was delivered on the requested date, but the delivery driver was several hours over the promised time. So we hung around for much longer than expected. The meat itself was wonderful. Not too fatty and with plenty of potential crackling. However, the herb and spice dressing was slightly too much. Almost overpowering. But apart from that, all was well & much enjoyed.”
