“The delivery time was accurate and the driver polite. The meat(rib of beef) was very good but I probably should have cooked it for longer as it was too rare for my Christmas meal. It was also a bit too fatty . Lovely cold sandwiches for me though!!!!”

“I ordered porchetta which I froze immediately on arrival. Defrosted for Christmas, I followed the cooking instructions and was rewarded with a very tasty piece of pork complete with the obligatory crackling! Would recommend.”

“My December order consisted of 2 thick cuts of TBone & 1 thin cut TBone (plus some other products) for a specific date for a party. The meat products were of excellent quality. The meat packages themselves had stayed chilled although the cardboard box & the paper stuffing in it had wet through affecting the strength of the box. This made me become a little concerned about wanting to order anything in hotter weather if the delivery box might rip from being soaked through from the ice packages melting. When I ordered last from Farmison, it was before the current business' changed hands. They had better delivery boxes (polystyrene box and cool packs of different insulated materials. The outer cardboard box never got wet even in the summer months unlike this delivery.”

“I was looking for gift vouchers for family and after checking out umpteen companies settled on Farmison as they offered a wide selection of meats, vouchers didn't need to be spent all at once ...my main concern as nit everyone has a separate freezer..and delivery didn't detract from the overall purchase value. So yes, win win all round.”

“We ordered a Bronze turkey (as we had heard them so praised) for Christmas and it was delivered in good time. We roasted it the same way we have always done it from our local suppliers and we really cannot say that although this one was one third more in price, it really did not taste any better. We like the meat offered from Farmison, but would really like to see more offal and wild game like rabbit and woodpigeon.”

“Two beef wellingtons purchased for Christmas Day. Followed instructions provided but this left pastry a bit undercooked and the meat slightly more medium than medium rare. However the quality of the meat was excellent. Thank you.”

“Delicious meat. Great delivery. Tasted really good. Only minor issue was order two cotes de boeuf and they looked so different! One had brilliant marbling, the other was much leaner. Both tasted good but they did taste different. Wish we’d been sent two that were similar. But that’s small beer - the quality and the service were both first rate. Thank you”

“Great tasting meat, can't argue. Turkey with stuffing parcels tasty and easy, reasonably tender though a couple of chewy bits, so didn't quite get the premium feel. The half precooked roast beef was similar -good flavours with the herbs, and done in 20 mins, was easy but again, didn't feel quite as premium as the other cuts I've had from F&co ( t bone, 60 days sirloin, etc). Enjoyed these but less than previous so hoping my next order will be better.”

“Most of the meat from Farmison and co has been top quality. My guests were a little disappointed on Christmas Day as the forerib of beef had a large area of indigestible fat and sinew in the centre, not visible from from the outside.”
