“Great delivery process and excellent quality of meat. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the extra fee for ‘eco packaging’ - surely eating better meat should include sending it in better packaging as standard, and there’s a lot of packaging to boot.”

“Generally good quality meat, particularly steak and aged meats. a little bit hit and miss with processed meats going from amazing to average at times. excellent packaging for minced beef very freezer friendly.”

“Farmison meat is generally so reliably delicious but the sirloin chop was disappointing. A very large piece of meat, it was difficult to separate from the bone, even when cooked, and there was a lot of sinew to chew through. The flavour was good but the eating was not altogether pleasant. I have two other products yet to consume and am hopeful of a better experience.”

“I am puzzled that lamb chops that I ordered are labelled 'Badger'. Are these truly lamb if so why does the label say otherwise ?”

“Love the sustainability values of the company. Delivery is excellent. The only reason for less than excellent is pricing which, from my perspective, is pushing at the top end for some products and OTT for others, making Waitrose a better choice for value - which is saying something.”

“I'm a new customer of Farmison having had two orders so far. I was reccomended by a colleague when talking about steaks so I have mainly only been getting their steaks so far. Their ribeyes are amazing and I'm not planning on getting from anywhere else. Deliveries are really good. We'll packaged with ice packs to keep cool. They also include little recipes for dishes for inspiration. Planning on getting more of my meat from them going forward. 4 stars just because I don't feel I've had enough of their products or orders as of yet to give 5 but have been very impressed.”

“Excellent service as always. The short ribs of beef, gammon steaks and gammon joint were delicious. I was, however, disappointed with the belly pork, which I have purchased before and been very happy with. I know that belly pork contains a lot of fat but on this occasion there was more fat than meat. Hence only 4 stars this time.”

“Great meat and great service. The only improvement I'd like to see is in the packaging. I'm not sure why I should have to pay for eco packaging ?? Surely eco packaging should be a given in this day and age?”
