“The quality of meat is superb and the sauce for tagliatelle is delicious. I love it. Consider your products, I definitely order again. However consider the DPD extreme unfriendly delivery service, I might have a second thought. Online shopping should provide the convenience of having the order sent to the door. But DPD leave my parcel by the entrance of the building, I have to carry /push the box to the lift lobby, take the elevator and then push the box home. I have experienced with DPD delivery from other companies, most of the time, they just left my parcel to the concierge even though I’m home, So a certain distance of walking to and from the building is required to collect my parcel. I gave up online shopping from Harrods and Fortnam & Maison just because the delivery by DPD totally defeated the convenience , disappointed me all the time. I’m a retiree and stay home most of the time , so I wish to receive my parcel by my door. carrying/ pushing those parcel boxes involves some physical strength which is quite difficult for me.”

“Tried my first box this week..a collection of things I fancied. Wow, collar bacon, love it! Delicious spatchcock today, fennel was beautiful. Your chilli con carne was a revelation. Small portion but the beef was outstanding. I’ll be back!”

“Box of goodies arrived on time and in very good condition. Chilled and good use by dates. All were vacuumed packed ready for to be sous vide, into the freezer or fridge. \\\\\\quality of produce is always fantastic.”

“The meat is expensive compared with my local butchers. For example I have just bought a 6lb 2 oz free range local chicken from Kitsons Northallerton for £15.99. I have not used the meat except for the sausage which was very good but the skins were very tough”

“Excellent beef wellington. Bought for a birthday celebration and enjoyed by all. Steak has not been cooked yet but I am disappointed by how fatty it is. It does not resemble the ‘photo.”

“The quality of meat is on the whole, very good. However, for the price, it should be. The brisket had been trimmed of too much fat so it lacked flavour - that & price the reason las I didn’t give 5 stars. Lamb products are superb.”

“All spot on to date with all my passed orderes, beef fantastic. Just one upsetting item, I ordered some of the larger rib eye steaks and they've come slightly wedge shaped, they are difficult to cook and get right like this? However, being a butcher for for some 15yrs in my early years I do know its easly done. Proper good meat though.”
