“The meat was good quality and nicely packaged although I don’t think I should have been charged for eco-packaging- there should be no alternative! I will order again though as I like the ethos of the company - however it is expensive so won’t be able to afford to order too often.”

“Deeply disappointed with 2 of the items I ordered in my first quite large mixed order. One was a packing issue as both packs of chicken goujons were squashed flat and almost impossible to separate in preparation for cooking. The Ripon Cathedral collar bacon was a disappointment too for a different reason as we found it chewy and inedible. However the Nidderdale sausages, chicken sausages, chicken thighs and Heritage short ribs have all been delicious.”

“I was very pleased with the beef cheeks you sent in my latest order and I followed a receipe for a spicy slow cooked casserole for them. It promises to be very tasty. The rolled breast of lamb, however, was prepared with so much fat and skin on it that 50% of it had to be cut away before cooking so was not at all a good buy. Perhaps it was an unfortunate piece of lamb. I will not buy that again. Despite being a low consumer of meat, I am delighted to support your range of home raised meat products and would recommend you to others.”

“The food ordered arrived quickly and the quality was incredible. If I had one negative point would be the packaging. The items came in styrofoam which cannot be recyled and terrible for the environment, there are other options available.”

“I tried Farmison after finding them on line and they are quite local to me. The initial 15% off on one’s first order was welcome. The quality of service and delivery including packaging was excellent, as was the quality of the meat. My only complaint was the amount of fat on the 2x sirloins @ £20 - delicious but after frying, the steaks were very small & not great vfm, as was the small chicken and pork loin. Its dofficult to tell from an online photo, but the actual amount of meat supplied for the price was a little disappointing.”

“The salt beef and pork tenderloin were incredibly tasty and cooked really well. Maybe I don’t like chorizo? The cooking chorizo was not to my liking, but this could be a matter of personal taste. I thought I’d bought the eco packaging and I would have been happy to pay more for it but I missed it. I think it should be mandatory.”
