Meat took over 72 hours to arrive and the customer service team were more than happy for us to consume the meat. I found this lack of care simply unacceptable. Avoid this business and buy elsewhere

the day before i should be getting my delivery for christmas i am told part of my order isnt available. so none of it has been shipped. Absolutely shocking service will not use again

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Here at  Farmison, all our Meat is cut and prepared fresh to order in our Butchery here, it is then picked and packed by hand in our Dispatch Department to be sent out to our customers fresh. This happened the day before a delivery is due to be with our customer. This means we are working with live stock levels, so, if there are any stocking issues on a certain dispatch day, this can often be communicated to us later in the day after all of our Supplier deliveries have been made and in many cases such as with yours last week. We do hate letting our customers down and here at  Farmison, we are constantly working on ways to improve our customer experience, so that we are offering the very best service possible to all our wonderful customers, so we understand that last-minute stocking issues are not ideal. We are very sorry once again to have let you down on this occasion.

Delivery was sent elsewhere and on informing them they proceeded to give me the address it was delivered to and my wife went on Facebook to track who it was. She then made some calls to eventually speak to the person who had our delivery. We then arranged to go and get it ourselves in the worst weather this year. The response from Farmison was sorry about that. They will never get an order from us again and I will certainly not recommend them.

Burgers are the best I have tasted slightly seasoned so to you can add your own seasoning, delivery perfect and in a chilled box I have already ordered my next box of burgers. I had a bit of apprehension about the price but they are well worth it.

Dishonest organisation - motivated and interested only in whole sale desception selling inedible rubbish. Quite simply they are Purveyors of FAT - you will get a little bit of meat but you are largely buying FAT. 1.5KGs of pork belly bought - I had to remove 500g of excessive fat, I.e. fat on top of fat intentionally left on to bulk up the weight. The joint was rolled and tied. I had to untie, remove the inedible garbage and retie the joint to cook. So I got a considerably smaller joint. Same story with 4 supposed skinless and boneless chicken thighs - almost a thigh's worth the fatty inedible rubbish again left on to bulk up the weight. Their hilarious marketing campaign running along side their desperation for 'investors' is called 'Carcass Management' - this is bs speak for selling rubbish to unsuspecting customers. I note there are numerous reviews relating to excessive fat content! An email to the ceo went unanswered - a fraudster unwilling to face up to the truth! Will ask Trading Standards to review this company - surely a breach of law to sell rubbish like this. My advice do not shop with them and put them out of business.

Received an email at 5.52pm the day before delivery to say a major part of my order was unavailable, I wouldn't have placed the order if the chicken hadn't been in stock but Farmison don't give any option other than a refund/voucher for the missing item. I now have everything I need for Sunday dinner except the chicken. I can't fault the quality of the meat but the customer service is rubbish. If an item is out of stock they should give you the option to cancel the whole order.

Unreliable deliveries. Farmison did not deliver when promised resulting in £50 of spoilt meat once I eventually received it. Offered a discount for next order rather than a refund. A second request for a full refund and now customer service not bothering to reply. Now having to pursue a chargeback with my credit card provider, what a waste of time. Would not recommend using farmison at all.

The quality of the produce is excellent - I've only ever ordered ribeye steaks (from various breeds) all were delicious and had great marbling through the meat. I took one star off for the delivery company they use. I was in all day on the day of the last delivery and no one knocked. I got an email saying my parcel had been left in a safe place. There was a picture of a bin and the package was on the floor (it was raining). Luckily the number was on the bin (it wasn't mine) and I had to go on a jaunt to the other end of my road to find my delivery behind someone else's bin. Perhaps you could make sure your delivery company, delivers.

Your venison burgers had sharp shards of bone in them that were hazardous to health. I alerted you immediately in October. You ignored me. I pushed. Reply from your Ops Director said all equipment tested and fine. I pushed for answers. I tested two more packets from two different batches. More sharp bone shards. I informed you. I sent an email to your CEO. He called me - ‘ what is it you want’ - a salesman type bully. He kept telling me that he ‘the CEO was calling me personally’. I stated I wanted them to establish why the bones were in their meat and I wanted to understand why they hadn’t established why and why had they not recalled the batches they knew were contaminated and presented a risk to health. He kept stating it was a very rare occurrence and everything checked out fine. I kept saying that three out of three batches was not a rare occurrence but in fact the very definition of consistency! They agreed to my request to collect my 6 remaining batches to check them. Returned and heard nothing, despite prompts. In the meantime after their pitiful initial response I made sure this was reported to the Food Standards Agency. The FSA did an unannounced visit and reviewed CCTV of the time when the three batches were produced. Wrong size mincing plate and the diverter was not fitted properly so content that should not have been in the burgers was in them! Bone and gristle etc. Venison bone is quite brittle and sharp. So why did the CEO lie to me…Why has this product not been recalled?

I wanted to give my sister a gift subscription to the saucepan-ready range, as she no longer cooks. There was supposed to be a range of choices, but at check out it transpired that half of them weren't available - but it didn't specify which half, so it took me a very long time to put an order together by eliminating the items one by one. One of the items I successfully ordered was the meatballs in a rich tomato sauce, which my sister reported contained sauce only, with no meatballs. Rather reluctantly Farmisons sent another pack which did contain meatballs. Such a shame, as this range is a brilliant idea and my sister was very enthusiastic about the other meals. The saucepan-ready range needs a bit more care and attention!

Eat quite a lot of oxtail, was excited when yours became available, but what a disappointment, I cooked it as usual but after 51/2hours the meat didn’t fall off the bone, unfortunately for me I bought 2 not looking forward to the next one .

I recently purchased the Breakfast and Nidderdale sausages and both are delicious! Full of flavour and meaty. I also snapped up the offer of 5x500g of cubed best beef steak for £20 which I needed for a rich red wine slow cooked casserole for a dinner party and it was melt in the mouth tender and very tasty. It is wonderful to have such confidence in the qualty of the meat from Farmison. Worth every penny.

Excellent variety and quality of meats.I enjoy trying the different ranges and seasons,game and venison excellent,especially the Christmas selection.Staff very helpful and delivery's very efficient.Also free delivery at £40 has been maintained. Looking forward to my delivery this week.
