“I purchased a Ragu and thought it was not very good being intense in flavour and not very pleasant. When I complained I received an apology but no offer of replacement. I took my complaint to Mr John Pallagi who I was told was the owner but having responded ten days ago that he would look in my complaint I have received nothing, even when I reminded him. The Company is a waste of time, just full of big promises and no action. Suggest you do what I am going to do and go elsewhere. I cannot believe this review will be posted. Stuart King 13/02/22”

“I'm a regular Farmison customer, but I'm very disappointed by how my last order was dealt with. I ordered a sale pork item on Feb 6th as soon as it appeared on offer, specifying a delivery date at the end of the week on the 11th. The item went out of stock soon after online, but I had received an acknowledgement of the order and (and paid for the item) well before this happened. When my order was delivered - no item. Out of stock I was told. So it seems that my choice of delivery date (that the website allowed) meant that the item went out to others ordering after me, but wanting delivery earlier than the 11th. Out of stock for me. Poor customer service Farmison - especially to a long-standing customer. Your website should not allow this.”

“Kentucky Style F&Co fried chicken. Sadly this was nothing like what I thought would be ‘Kentucky style’ chicken. This was definitely more Cajun flavoured , very hot spicy & incredibly salty. Only edible with a sour cream to dumb down the spiciness. The quality of the chicken was very good though.”

“We normally have a great experience with Farmison, but this was the first time we bought a pork shoulder for roasting, hoping for an exceptional taste. But … so very poorly prepared; absolutely random scoring of the skin, rolled together so poorly that no apprentice would have gotten away with that. The taste was ok, nothing special, so we will stick with our local free range pork supplier. Shame, as we do love the poultry.”

“The meats are mostly excellent (not a fan of the sausage), however the customer service is TERRIBLE. Better to support the local butchers unless I want Hamburgers and then I will suffer the service.”

“I ordered a pork shoulder, bacon, chicken thighs and pork steaks. The pork shoulder was amazing, and the bacon also good. However, the pork steaks and chicken thighs both went bad well before their expiry dates so I never got to eat these and had to buy replacement meat for my meals. I reached out about the pork steaks and was told it was being investigated and have not heard back since despite chasing (no refund, no replacement meat). I will not be ordering again.”

“Constant problems with over-oxidised meat and recently meat that made both my wife and I very ill (vomiting etc) and the meat was so tough we could not cut it. Will not be using you again.”

“Ordered a pork loin joint, unfortunately, rather than being as per the picture, the meat wasn’t a really nice lean eye of meat, it was interlaced with lines of fat. Also, the layer of fat across the top was only about 7. -8 mm, which meant that the pork wasn’t that tender or flavoursome.”

“I was expecting full of flavour Bacon and Sausages this was not the case, The bacon did not taste like bacon and the sausages were bland more taste in Tesco's bacon and Richmond Sausages. Will not be on my supplier's list anymore.”

“Rather disappointed with the turkey crown I had for Christmas. This is the first time I have had a crown rather than a whole turkey and next year I will revert back. I used the cooking instructions provided and the turkey was not dry but quite tasteless and no lovely juices remaining for making gravy. Rather disappointed”

“Ordered the Beef Wellington and followed the cooking instructions exactly, the product was very tough and didn't taste like fillet at all. The duxelles was bitter and didn't help. The pastry was very good - although £80 is a lot to pay for puff pastry.”

“As a family we’ve always had roasted goose for Christmas dinner. Although I was impressed with the customer service and delivery of our goose the quality of the product unfortunately feel short on this occasion. The meat lacked the distinctive taste, flavour and texture that we are so familiar with.”

“Ordered the dry aged beef rib this xmas and it wasn’t a very good cut nor do I believe it was aged for as long as you claim. The Christmas before I had a much better rib from you. I don’t know if I will use your company again.”
