Ordered Nidderdale sausage ,sent chicken sausage .Lorne sausage not to my liking at all .

We got the ribs whilst on offer & we were really looking forward to them but sadly not much meat on them .

the meat is to dear £5 for 4 sausages i can go to the local butchers and put £3 to the £5 and get a full lorne as for the steaks for that price i could get a full ribeye for £30 and cut it down myself

I ordered sausages - delicious but so disappointed they only had a 2 day life on them. Complained but no response yet.

Bitterly disappointed with the beef joints. Very gristly and fatty. Not what we expected.

The duck was tasty but the customer service an absolute shambles! The left hand appears to have no idea what the right hand is doing, let alone what is in stock, and don't try ringing if you have anything else to do that day, it takes forever to get through, but email response times are not much better

The Yorkshire duck confit was EXTREMELY salty, almost inedible and one was very dry and not good to eat. I would not get it again. I have had confit of duck many times in France and it was always succulent and delicious.

Recieved my meat order today,on6th October.Had a selection of sausages and bacon.Very disappointed when I looked at the use by dates.2 packs of Nidderdale and 1 pack of Lamb Merguez sausages had a use by date of October 8th.2 days to use them.!!! I expect at least a week,or more. Very poor.

The most recent order was delivered to the wrong address. We contacted both you and DPD to say the time of delivery had passed and still no sign of the parcel. DPD had already told us the delivery was delayed [more than 6 hours] and we knew things were going wrong. It was only when at 5.30 pm we had an email from Luke [the driver] which showed a photo fot the door where he had left the parcel. the door was blue, and the door frames were white - nowhere in our block of 8 flats was there a door like that! An enteprising lady neighbour thought she may know where this door was and she found it - 400 yards away from our block - and retrieved the parcel. Since then we sent you a complaint, and you denied receiving it, and have never followed up on our email. As well as the problem of a very late delivery by a very stupid driver we tried to eat the rump lamb steaks the next day. We found them almost inedible due to the 20% of fat on each of the two steaks. The worst meat we have ever had from you....this is not a short review, but it tells you that we are greatly disappointed with both the delivery and the quality of the first meat tasted from that delivery. We do not propose to make a further order from you until you have replied to our original complaint and also this review.

Very disappointed with my most recent order. The nidderdale sausages were very gristly and the chopped chicken thighs were tiny pieces riddled with all of the fat and sinew. They were like off cuts! Extremely disappointing. I don’t think I’d order again as a result. The sirloins were ok but nothing special. Shame.

I have shopped with Farmison for a number of years but have found that the quality of their products is now less and the price completely OTT. For example, I have recently tried three different ‘saucepan ready’ meals and, without exception, they were bland and boring, despite the chef inspired recipe. Charlie Bigham’s meals, available in most supermarkets, are much better.

Was actually very disappointed this time. Drumsticks were flavourless and the spatchcock which is normally very tasty had a lot of fat and cartilage.

meat came all nicely packaged etc. Bacon excellent, lamb ribs good but burgers very average. I used half the burgers and put back in the fridge. THey were not left out and went to use the remainder on use by date but they were all mouldy and I had to throw away.

Honestly disgusted with the amount of packaging - small slab of butter arrived in a giant box, so much plastic - makes me sad for the future of our world. Please think of this going forward!

Order :WEB21081207255992 Arrived this morning with zero notification from DPD. First order placed with Farmison , had high expectations. Sadly these were dashed on inspecting order. Although picking note indicated all order present , skin on chicken breasts 2 pack were not present . Theses were for dinner tonight . On calling customer service , informed they were out of stock . Maybe a courtesy call to inform customer they would not be coming be great. Such a shame as has now put me off ordering again. Let’s hope they get delivered Friday as promised.

Ordered some steaks. Meat quality great. However, out of 6 steaks, 4 had excessively large amounts of fat. This meant that only about 50% of each steak was actual meat, which was disappointing and from a value for money perspective not worth it.

It's ok meat, there's better quality meat out there from online butchers. You would expect top quality produce at a top quality price but I've found this isn't always the case with Farmison's

The product arrived on the day requested. We had hoped for the duck breast to be smoked but it wasn’t and although it was perfectly tasty we felt it didn’t represent value for money at all!

I bought a selection of steak,burgers and mince. They were beautifully presented and the staff were extremely warm and helpful but the quality of the meat was poor. The steak was fine but the burgers were not tasty and the mince was very clumpy and took some breaking down.
