“Very small beef Wellington. The ones from Cook are better and more generous”

“Although I like to see fat the Sirloin joint I paid fifty pounds for had a huge thick layer of fat over it. Kind of feel I paid thirty pounds for the meat and twenty pounds for the fat. The fat should have been trimmed down”

Thank you for your feedback. We are sincerely sorry you were unhappy with the levels of fat on your sirloin joint. Here at Farmison, the heritage breeds we use, where each animal is totally free range with little or no human interference, will lay down layers of fat in a totally natural way and each breed is different to the last with regards to the amount of fat they produce. “I ordered pastrami and bresaola. The meat was well packaged and well delivered, but the bresaola was all stuck together and the pastrami was very dry and crumbled when i tried to heat it up. All in all, very disappointing. I have not yet tried their other meats, so this comment only relates to the two products mentioned.”

“Delivery perfect, quick abb no d on time , well packaged and on time . The Sirloin steaks looked good , cooked Medium Rare but were tasteless and had tissue that is hard to chew ??? Very , very disappointed Neil & Ann Evans”

“I purchased a sirloin joint and marrow burgers. The sirloin joint was tender but lacked flavour. The burgers were not that impressive either, similar to standard burgers anywhere. Given the price I expected better. I know that meat is variable but I purchased a rib joint last Christmas which also lacked flavour but put that down to bad luck. I won't be ordering from here again, the premium price should come with depth of flavour but it hasn't in my experience.”

“firstly i like say that the pork pie and saussage were fantastic in both taste and quality ,the delivery and condition of the goods were also great . the only bad downside was the use by date of the sausssage was the day after delivery. I think that this is NOT ACCEPTABLE.”

“We were so looking forward to the turkey ballotine and pigs in blankets we ordered for Christmas but were unfortunately quite disappointed. We followed the recipe that came with the turkey and it turned out bone dry and quite flavourless. The pigs in blankets had a very strange flavour and texture and were not tasty at all.”

“I was really underwhelmed by the beef filet. They had a tainted taste and tough texture. I do wanted to love their beef...disappointing. The service was excellent however, arrived perfectly.”

“I treated the family to my first order from Farmison meat this Christmas. We really did not enjoy the Beef Wellington nor the sausage meat stuffing. The goose ballotine was just okay. However we did enjoy the rack of mutton. I’m sorry we won’t be ordering again.”

“I have had beautiful meat from previous orders if mainly red meat and was really looking forward to the turkey parcels with stuffing. Unfortunately after following website instructions these turned out to be pretty dry and lacking in flavour. A little disappointed for our Christmas dinner but will not deter us from ordering our usual red meat in the future”

“I’m sure the meat was good quality but the cooking instructions were totally wrong for the size of the meat and left the meat inedible (goose leg ballottine). Disappointing as we had this instead of turkey so was supposed to be that main attraction of dinner. The stuffing balls and pigs in blankets were very nice though.”

“Sadly we were very disappointed with the Turkey Ballotines we ordered for Christmas. The stuffing was tasteless andoneof the Ballotines had so much gristle initiated it was virtually inedible. This was not the sort of product we expected from a luxury meat provider.”
