Very disappointed overall. The pies were great. The oak smoked turkey ham breast tasted like clay. I made two sandwiches and threw the rest away. The bacon was more fat than bacon, and a little dry. The sausages were incredibly course and left a nasty taste. All the meat seemed like it had gone bad. I would order the pies again, but that's it. I paid well over the odds for the food. My advise is to buy from your local butcher and don't be duped in to buying meat online from an overpriced and supposedly high quality butcher.

Good delivery etc. but the product was very disappointing. The chicken ballotine was all stuffing, and the chicken that there was turned out very poor, tough and dark coloured. Would not buy this product again

The ready to carve duck was, sadly, a disappointment. It did not have a good flavour and it was packed with too much stodgy stuffing, which then dominated the meat. Sorry, but not a good first impression.

The poorest quality, expensive duck I have ever purchased. Suasages very good, pigs in blankets good. Very dissatisfied with your duck.

I am disappointed. The haunch of venison I ordered should feed at least 6. By the time it is cooked it will be enough for 2 or 3. Very disappointing and expensive for what it is.

Ordered 4 fillet steaks for son in law birthday. Logistically went well. However the steak Doesn’t look like fillet at all. I’m rather embarrassed to be honest.

Rolled rib of beef very disappointing. Certainly tender, but very little flavour, especially as hung for nearly 5 weeks; and little marbling. "Heritage" beef is too vague - we originally requested Hereford, and would not have placed an order for, say, Dexter.

I had a meat order of lamb and beef - I was looking for top quality steak & lamb rack for a celebration. The order arrived promptly but so far I have been very disappointed with the quality of the meat. The rump steak was mediocre - not any better than a supermarket steak. Not tough but not meltingly tender and flavour just average. The lamb rack had a huge slab of fat on it - could have been trimmed better and had a very strong soapy lamb smell - Disappointed & won’t be ordering again.

So lamb racks were tasty, will not be buying the mutton again as did not like the taste and the meat was a lot tougher However one point i would raise is the amount of packing, I get meat fish and groceries all delivered and the cardboard box, polystyrene and gel ice put me off buying again just does not seem very sustainable to me, a little more though and I am sure you can do away with the polystyrene!

Usually I rate Farmison’s very highly but I did not find my last order to the usual 5 star standard. The fillet and sirloin steaks were good but not as good as previously. The sausages arrived with only 1 day shelf life. I froze them and they were good when eaten. The gammon steaks were actually very poor, giving out such a lot of of “white water “ when cooked and they had no flavour.

Very disappointed was let down by the delivery date and Very disappointed with the fillet steak for what I paid for them £29.65 for 2 small bits of steak I must be honest I've had better from the supermarket. Was nothing like the picture on your website I thought I ordered the wrong steak until I read the label I had to get the wife to check it so yeah Very disappointed

Ordered a sabble of lamb for 6, this was the first time from the regular cuts and the illustration on website appeared full of flavour and plenty meat. I was very disappointed and shocked at the amount of fat and so little meat in the cente. Has it was for a planned meal cooked it. The joint tasted beautiful especially with a the fat around it, however they was only enough meat for 5 persons at a push . Paying £40 for a Sunday joint you would expect a lot more for you money. I will choose alternative cuts in the future.

Had meat before from you, sirloin steak was fantastic. But not this time, very tough, not at all like the other orders. Very disappointed 😔. I am a trained chef, and know how to cook 👨‍🍳

Found out the main product I needed was out of stock, though not listed as such on the website, the day before it was due to be delivered as a birthday gift. Highly disappointing, and left no time to source it elsewhere. Customer service was satisfactory in sorting a refund

First time I ordered, was very good quality. Ordered another 2 times steaks are not consistent. Thin one side, thick the other. Such a shame, as quality of meat is very good.

Streaky bacon has extreme amount of fat and lacks flavour. Back bacon also lacks flavour. Thick, bone marrow burgers have too much thyme? which masks any flavour. Beef shin has great flavour. Still to sample sausages.
