Not ate all my order yet but my lamb and gammon joints were certainly not worth the money, I was so disappointed.

Usually the products we have bought have been excellent. However this xmas we bought a stuffed pork leg and after cutting off the huge amount fat we were left with loads of stuffing and very little meat, a struggle to give everyone a decent slice of meat. Will probably try elsewhere next year.

You should be much clearer when your sending frozen meat. Felt a little bit cheeky to be honest. Would not recommend. If I’m paying proper money I want proper fresh meat. Not something defrosting in transit.

Franky, we were very disappointed with the rib of beef. It had little taste. The only redeeming part of the order was the streaky bacon.

Not that happy. Ordered, but then the planned Christmas event had to be cancelled due to Covid. Called back two days after ordering to rearrange delivery for a later date (not cancel) but got told this was not possible and was told to freeze it. Had no space in freezer so order was pointless. Customer service needs work!

The bacon joint, even after soaking in cold water, and gently simmered, not roasted, was so salty it nearly became inedible. Such a shame as the underlying flavour was potentially very good. Had it been roasted as suggested it it would have been impossible to eat. How disappointing. Traditional black rind Suffolk bacon and ham are usually low salt.

Goose breast was tough and chewy,legs ok as lconfit them,lots of goose fat,giving up on goose,will have pork or good organic chicken,goose not worth the money

I’ll be honest as this is the best policy. 1. The bacon and sausages are lovely. 2. Pork escalopes were nice. 3. Lamb was ok. But what I wasn’t happy with was the use by dates on everything was pretty immediate so I had to rush to cook everything. I’d give the bacon and sausage a 5 star but I knocked off 1 star for the other meat and 1 star for giving me meat that I had to use immediately. Would I order again. Quite possibly more bacon as it was gorgeous.

Delivery was asked for on 23rd but actually happened on 21st. Although asked to go to neighbour it did not go there. Although promused it would go to a collection point it was left in the porch, from where my daughter hsd skready had her Christmas wreath stolen. Luckily I was able to tell my daughter who contacted her neihhbour who was abke to bring it in. Unsatisfacrory all round.

I ordered the meater thermometer but had to cancel the order. Both the order and cancellation of the order was seamless. However receiving the refund has been extremely painful where I keep on being told it has been processed but when I follow-up, it seems that the refund was only sent to the finance team and not “processed”.

I ordered pigs in blankets, asked for 10 but received a confirmation for 10 packs instead. Emailed Trinity at Farmison twice before delivery date to try and amend but no response and now I have 110 pigs in blankets in my freezer. Well 90 as I’ve given 20 away so far. Not sure how they taste as afraid I’ll overdose on pigs in blankets pre Christmas. Difficult to know how many stars to give this shopping experience but gave chosen two for lack of communication.

It's a pleasure to write an honest review of Farmison. Thanks for inviting me to do so. The meat is fantastic. Cannot fault the product one iota. The let-down is on the customer service side. I ordered, among several other items, 2 packs of lamb rump, required for a meal for 4. Only one pack arrived. This was on 23rd November. As of 5th December, I'm still waiting for any kind of refund. In the meantime, at least 5 e-mails encouraging me to order again have arrived, so the marketing side of the operation is working well. Congratulations for that. When a company produces such an excellent product, it is almost criminal when the service side of things fails to support this. Do better.

They went "out of stock" on an item after I placed my order but still sent the other items. What a waste of packaging & food miles as they then sent the missing item. Surely it would have been better to ask me (via email) what my preference was (cancel the missing item, hold the order until the item was back in stock. etc). The product was OK but nothing special - my home-cured bacon is just as good.

I ordered a centre cut piece of fillet, for a beef Wellington. The picture showed a chunky looking joint but what I received resembled a large sausage, not a joint. One item from my order was missing. The refund for the missing item was going to take up to 10 days which I thought was a long time. I felt that my complaint regarding the fillet was not taken seriously, so even though I love the ethos of this company, bad service dies not get my business.

Cumberland sausages were delivered 23 November with a use by date of 24 November. Attempts to email the company for refund or replacement have not been successful. Otherwise, a good experience
