They are scam artists. I ordered one casket and they called me the next morning claiming it wasn’t in stock, but they could do me a huge favor and for the low low price of doubling the cost, get my mother’s casket delivered. You should’ve heard his fast talking and pretending like he was talking to someone on the warehouse. It was classic.

You placed an order online at about 6 PM on 8/19. We called you the next day to let you know that we were out of stock of the model you had ordered in the area and were going to upgrade you to a similar one at the same cost. We advised that there is mileage (which you clicked I agree to when you checked the box and placed the order). Your services are out in east Texas not close by to our station as we don't have a warehouse full of caskets in every small town in America. When we advised that there was a mileage charge but we were going to discount it at our rate you told us to F off and hung up. We were not doubling the cost or anywhere close to it. Maybe had you not said F off and hung up on us you would have been able to hear us out and we could have helped you. As it stands, we ended up cancelling the order as there was no communication with you from that point forward and refunded you on the 21st. We hope you had a beautiful service.

We specifically asked that the casket be no larger than 28" wide. The guy lied and said it was 28". I noticed that the hardware was sticking out a little on the corners and called the company and said please, it needs to be no wider than 28". It arrived and it is twenty eight and one quarter inches wide. These people screw even the dead.

All of our standard sized caskets are sized to very comfortably fit inside a standard sized vault. We've sold many of the Blue Lady of Guadalupe caskets that were buried with no problems. Were you doing something besides a burial? Please let us know so that we can make adjustments if necessary.

Do not order from these guys. They go under two names Sky Casket and Sunset caskets out of Salt Lake Utah. The people that answer the phone are Shane, Matthew or a person with the last name Warner. They will scam you out of money. I can’t go into details yet. The Pa Assistant Attorney General is looking into their scams. My casket was supposedly shipping within Pa so the Pa Attorney General is handling. Then they claim it was coming on Delta Airlines flight number 13xx and would not give me tracking number. Unfortunately, for them the FBI is looking into this due to them claiming it was crossing state lines. I can’t give a lot of details yet because it is under investigation. After I got the Attorney General involved they claim the casket was stuck in Atlanta due to bad weather. They wanted to charge me over $1000 more after signing the first agreement. They will call you the next day and tell they made mistake on transportation charges. I have both agreements and screen shot of the flight they claim it was on. FBI will be getting the manifest for the claimed fight it was on. The FBI has cell phone numbers addresses and agreements. These people need to be shut down. I got my money back after they knew I was going to the authorities and the credit card company. I also have been contacted by their competitor and they have a list of people that were scammed.

You were never scammed. Your casket was delayed due to weather. We tried all we could to get it there. Unfortunately acts of god happen. We communicated with you late into the night and early in the morning and promptly refunded you. You do have screenshots of the airwaybill number linked to your casket as we texted it to you to show you what was going on to keep you in the loop and so you could verify for yourself. You did threaten us with your family member attorney general via text. It wasn't necessary. We haven't heard anything from the FBI as everything we did was legitimate. The flight manifests bear this out. You wanted a specific custom wood casket delivered on a very quick turnaround. You would have got your money back regardless of the authorities (who never contacted us) as that is how business should be done. You placed the order on 1/9. We made every good faith effort to get it delivered for you. We had it set to deliver early on 1/11 after we weren't able to on the 10th. On the night of the 10th when we found it was still grounded due to weather and wouldn't make the flight to make your services we called you and let you know and refunded you that same night. The money you make it seem like we tried to keep and needed the authorities to force us to give back wasn't even out of your account for 48 hours. We did everything in good faith and will do so even without the threat of the FBI and Attorney General within 24 hours of an order being placed.

You called us and placed an order for the Angelus Pieta casket for your loved one and told us to deliver it to the funeral home the next day. This was at 330 PM. Our last load was going out and you insisted it deliver either the next day or on the following morning which was Saturday (bearing in mind this was the day after Christmas when a lot of places just stayed closed down through the weekend). We told you we would get it done and contacted the funeral director you were working with. You had told us to deliver to Nova funeral home. The funeral director told us to bring it to Carbonara funeral home Saturday at 3 PM as that would be when she had availability to receive it because she had a service going on earlier in the day and Carbonara was where they do the prep work not Nova. We called you to let you know that we had got it all set with your funeral director and upon hearing it was going to Carbonara instead of Nova you flipped out and started cursing and yelling at us for merely conveying what your funeral director had said would work for her. You cancelled the order within an hour and a half of placing it because we were trying to work around your funeral directors schedule rather than just showing up and dropping it off in an empty snowy parking lot. We did nothing wrong here.

My sister's husband passed and she wanted a custom casket with his fraternity colors. We found Sky Caskets online. After speaking with Matthew, he assured her he would have the casket to the funeral home in 3 days. After making the arrangements, the funeral director stated the casket would need to be larger. We called back to make them aware of the change. Matthew stated he would have to see if he could sell the original casket. Mind you, this was the next day, not even 24hrs later. He claimed the new one wouldn't arrive until 6days later. In order to assure ot arrived before the viewing, we paid extra to expedite the shipping. Now, it arrived that Friday (go figure). The paint was running in some spots, the handles were half painted. The supposedly custom part was a photo blown up of what she sent them of the fraternity crest. There were seams showing, the funeral home had a hard time cranking it to lower the body, just awful! I left Matthew a message about the disaster he sent He calls back claiming he was out of the country and would call back when he returned. I am still waiting....I have left messages but still no resolve. This is awful to take advantage of grieving people!!

We customized your casket as ordered and yes got it going within 24 hours. That was part of the conversation on the phone is that we would bump you to the front of the line and get it moving asap. When you called us back needing the oversize we had to get one to our customizing shop as we don't have black oversize caskets. We had to strip down and disassemble the whole thing and rush on getting it painted as well as the hardware again putting you ahead of everyone else. The custom head panel was of the picture Yvette sent to us that she wanted us to use (We still have the email on file from 10/7/24). We printed exactly what she sent us to print in the head panel. This isn't something we did wrong. As far as the paint, the pictures you've posted show no runs. It looks like somebody brushed the lid with a dusty hand in one picture and in another picture where the lid is open you can see the foot end has a mirror gloss finish. Nothing was half painted and we had it delivered within 72 hours of you placing the order for the oversize as we had employees stay late to work on yours. The casket was customized with the fraternity colors, had the head panel image you guys sent us to use, and was delivered to Faith memorial in plenty of time as per your demands. The casket was received in good condition by your funeral directors after inspection. What happens from there is beyond our control but we did expedite and deliver a quality product.

Ordered a casket for my wife that just recently passed. I paid the full price which included a $395 next day delivery to any of the lower states. I was contacted the next day by the CEO Shane Bronson that said they calculated shipping wrong and I owed another $700. I could not believe it. But in a time crunch to make my wife's funeral arraignments I went ahead and paid the difference so we had a casket. I would not buy from them again, and I will not be recommending them to anyone. Instead I would say go to overnightcaskets.com. they appear to not swindle people.

A couple of things need to be addressed with this. First, we don't have a CEO named Shane. He is our head of logistics and is not who called you. Secondly, you did pay for the next day service so that it would be delivered the next day rather than in a couple of days. There is mileage, you specifically clicked a box before it submitted your order stating all of this. You are located out in the middle of Kansas. Unfortunately we don't have warehouses in every little city to where we can just pick them up and run it down the street to your funeral home. We did have to have it driven a ways. We are happy to do this but it does incur costs. We advised you of this and you signed off on it via a docusign receipt before we moved it. We did not calculate the shipping wrong. We hope you were able to have a beautiful service with the Angelus Pieta casket.

Where do I start...As a funeral professional, I ordered a casket from this company on behalf of the family who's child passed away. The company called me and told me that they did not have that particular casket which was fine. I asked if they had a NAVY blue casket and he said yes. The casket gets here and it is LIGHT/SKY blue. I called them and told them that this is not what I asked for and he says "well I said I have a darker blue casket and that's it, I have one lighter than that." Then starts talking about reselling the casket and other nonsense. I needed you to do the right thing and fix the situation by SENDING WHAT I ASKED FOR. These careless idiots are colorblind scammers who speaks with the education level of a 5th grader and this will come back to bite you one way or another. By the way, I will be reporting this FRAUD.

We are sorry you weren't satisfied with your casket. You are certainly free to report this as fraud if you feel like it. I have reviewed the docusign that you signed and it clearly states 56 youth blue with your initials less than an inch from it. Again, were sorry it wasn't what you envisioned but we did deliver what was ordered.

Matthew Warner who I spoke with as a funeral director at a funeral home out and out lied to the family about what he had said to me. They wanted to deliver a casket to us on Saturday (as it was already shipped or so he said) I told him No we can't have it delivered on Sat as we have a service then, he said what about Sunday? I agreed to that as he told me the casket had been shipped. When I called him back to tell him we didn't need it until Friday,he lied to the family and told her that I told him to ship it. I did not. He told me it had been shipped. Then when he was on the phone with the family he told her "See she is trying to sell you a casket that's how they are!" It's not my family I'm not selling them anything he is. He is terrible and I would never recommend that casket company to anyone ever! We don't sale our families anything. I had volunteered to come in on my day off when he told me it had been shipped even told him it wasn't supposed to be here until Tuesday. He said because of Labor Day they had to ship it. Another lie. Sad that he immediately called the daughter of the deceased in the middle of making arrangements (not with me) and told her it was going to cost her $400 extra. He lied so much that I finally just said deliver it on Sunday. He is rude and nasty, Matthew Warner. What a sorry way to treat a grieving family! Diane Schafer

Hello Dianne, we did have it shipped so as to get it there asap on Saturday as per the family's request. You were unavailable to receive it Saturday but said you would receive it on Sunday. We let the driver know to hot shot it to you on Sunday. You called us back pushing the date back saying you don't need it until the following Friday after you had told us to bring it Sunday. We let the family know that you were pushing back the delivery date after you had told us Sunday as they wanted to be kept in the loop. If we had to store it we would have incurred fees. We let the customer know this. That's why we were originally trying to deliver Saturday as per the families wishes then opted to deliver Sunday when you yourself told us that would work. We didn't want the family to pay any more than they had to. As it were, we did deliver to you on Sunday (thank you for that by the way) and the customer didn't have to pay any storage fees. We don't have our customers hour by hour schedule on hand. Calling while she was setting up services was never the intent. It may have been a blessing in disguise though having our mutual customer there with both parties to ensure clarity and the resolution that they wanted. The customer was happy with the casket, you guys gave them a beautiful service, and all was well. This looks like it was a case of miscommunication. In your post you tell us to bring it Sunday then say you don't need it until Friday, and then that it wasn't supposed to be there until Tuesday. Were sorry if you got frustrated or confused. That wasn't the goal. Serving the family, making them happy, and saving them money are all we were striving to do.

Called about casket we saw online for $1795. In the ad it showed free shipping anywhere in US. On the call they informed they would give a $500 discount for veterans. So we verbally confirmed $1295 and I gave my credit card info. Then they sent a DocuSign, however in the DocuSign document $2592 was the total price. We called back and they said there's a shipping charge. Why are we paying a shipping charge if it is free shipping. Then Shane the supposed CEO informed that if you don't sign it now you'll have to wait till next Thursday for us to ship it out. So the DocuSign says they charge $395 for shipping in the small print. But the website says free shipping. That would be $1690. They lie, cheat and steal from grieving windows. Hoping they will sneak one by you in your time of despair. Please, buyer beware! I've attached the website and DocuSign so you can see we are not fabricating this.

Can you give me a little more information on this order so we can look into this? I did some math and that isn't really off depending on where you are. 1795+395=2190 (since you needed it expedited) + sales tax 150-200 depending on where you are (sorry we don't have a way around this. We aren't bigger than the US Government) = 2340 to 2390 + mileage. Some places will have basically none and some have a lot. Driving a casket to Northern Montanna hundreds of miles from the nearest station will cost a lot more than getting one in Los Angeles that we have in the local facility. Please let me know so we can figure this out. Thank you.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. These guys are scamming people in regard to shipping charges. We ordered a casket and they charged us $895 additional after we had ordered the casket online and selected the free shipping because my sons funeral was in 3 weeks. When I questioned the additional charge Shane yelled at us on the phone and said, "what don't you understand, you have to pay shipping!!" We paid it because they were holding the casket hostage, but when I found out that there are multiple other casket companies that do not charge shipping of any sort. Their website says, "you may be charged extra for shipping" but we didn't think this applied to us because we selected the free shipping on the website. FREE SHIPPING SHOULD MEAN FREE SHIPPING!!! I ordered another casket which was exactly the same from their competitor for $400 less and had true free shipping and that casket was coming from the same place as Sky Casket was coming from. My friends, stay far far away from these scammers. They are taking advantage of people during our most horrible times in our lives and they could give two cares less. They point to their website and how it says that you "may have to pay shipping charges." I sent their casket back because it showed up in a plastic bag, not even in a cardboard box to have it shipped. It had scratches all over it and looked like the material inside was dingy looking. They're still Refusing to give me a refund, despite picking up their casket.

This is a rather slanted version of what actually happened. There are mileage charges. These are clearly stated in the site and you actually checked a box acknowledging this before you signed for the total on a docusign contract that spelled it out. As far as delivery, We did leave it with a dust cover or "bag" as you put it. It did come protected but the funeral director didn't want all the cardboard and packaging so our driver unpacked the casket and left it with the dust cover. As far as the product arriving damaged, this is false. You also tried disputing this and lost the dispute. Luckily, we took pictures upon delivery including ones that had your funeral director inspecting and approving the casket before signing for it. We are not responsible for whatever happens to your casket once it is out of our hands. Our job is to get it there on time and in good condition. We fulfilled both of these requirements.

Matt extremely rude and obnoxious. I am a licensed funeral director helping a family that lost there child. We were on a conference call with Sky Caskets and was explaining what we needed for there daughter. They advertised a 4.6 youth casket. We told the guy the size of there daughter and 4.6 thinking its 4'6''. Casket came and it measured 41.5''. So I called the casket company up and explained the situation. He starts telling me there are restocking fees etc. I told him that is not right as we were under the impression of it being 4'6'' long. He then called the family who is grieving the loss of there daughter. I called family and they were on phone with him. They put him on speaker and he said he went back to the conversation and said we wanted the casket asap. I said no we told you in a week so that is a lie. He continued to argue with me with the family present, I told him to call me direct this is not fair to the family, I said you need to make this right, then he said I was a shady person and that he has over 800 people that work in his company and he will have everyone give our funeral home bad reviews. I am disgusted with this firm and would tell everyone never to use them. I am going to seek further assistance about this matter to have this business looked into. They take advantage of people when they are grieving and it is so wrong. I attached photos showing the cost with shipping and it was far less then what he charged the family.

I am a licensed funeral director for one of the largest funeral homes in Dayton. I've now had THREE families order a casket from this "company" and the day of the service- no casket. And the "owner" states we are to just give them one of our caskets instead. So he took these families money and did not provide what they had paid for, and then yelled at and belittled the families in the process.

The web site was easy to use but the shipping is a rip off. After selecting casket and shipping then you get a call that there is "additional shipping" you need to pay. In my opinion this is a bait and switch. If you buy a product and pay the advertized shipping and product we now have a contract. I was floored to get a call wanting an additional $600 shipping from Seattle to Portland. I would NEVER purchase from this company again.

We are sorry for the frustration this may have caused you. When placing your order there is a small box you have to check to proceed. It has the disclaimer there about the mileage and you check that box to put the order through. It's literally the first thing it says. From there we get the order and find the closest station that has your casket and we contact you just as the disclaimer that you checked says. What about sales tax? That was part of the tax and mileage you were quoted when we called. Unfortunately we are not a company that gets an exemption from sales tax. This is the equivalent of going to the store and expecting to pay sticker price at the register then getting upset when you get your total after being rang up. We don't have a way around the taxes. You had the option of picking it up from us the next day after placing your order. You opted not to do so and signed a docusign contract agreeing to the total cost. To come back after the fact seems a little unfair as you had options that you didn't exercise.

Its almost as if he calls the Funeral Director he insults to your face, then maps out the plan of action to ensure they fleece you as much as possible. Beware: Casket can not be sealed by you personally because the mausoleum people insist the casket need to be able to burp. Even if you were allowed to seal yourself it comes with no lock. Now you reduced to explaining to your fellow mourner's why you need to be in there drilling on our loved ones casket and why we didn't go with the same casket from funeral home with seal and lock for 1999.00 as apposed to the salesman (Mat) claim it would be $3200.00. $1598 + $350 Wrap was $48 dollars more then Funeral homes raunchy salesman's price

You called us wanting the Orion Silver casket which doesn't come as a sealer. You ordered it on 2/29 at about 11 AM and wanted it delivered the next day. The internal notes show that we spoke with you and you advised us that you would pick up weather stripping from Home Depot to make it a sealer. If a casket is going into a mausoleum it does need to be able to ventilate or "Burp" as gasses build up and need to be released. We shipped exactly what you had ordered and signed for. There was nothing here that we did wrong. You did save money over the funeral home cost as you got the casket and had it delivered the next day for under $1700. If the casket wasn't sealed then why did you need to drill holes in it? This makes no sense. We did our part. If there was a misunderstanding between you and the mausoleum that has nothing to do with us. You called us and placed and order knowing what your situation was. We shipped what you told us to ship. We delivered the casket that you wanted and paid for in perfect condition. That's as far as our part goes.

Talk to the owner about wrapping a casket and was hung up on and told he does over 700 caskets a day and didn't have time to listen to a possible partnership. I can tell you this company will produce a casket for you but motivated by pure greed. This cost is enormous compared to other out there. Tip.. find any other to wrap you casket from anywhere in the country - they can all do the same work and wrap the casket quickly. This attitude is not anything I would want to touch a casket for my love one to go in!

I'm sorry you felt disrespected. That was not the intent. We do get a lot of calls as does everyone offering services and pushing sales for stuff (like extended car warranty). We are running a business, it may be that they mistook your call for a scam call. We are trying to run a business here. Leaving bad reviews without being a customer and dragging a company that you haven't dealt with through the mud just because they didn't give you their business seems unfair.

My husband suddenly/unexpectedly lost his father and the two of us sat down with his Mom to try and find a budget-friendly casket. Dealing with this incredibly shady “company” left the three of us —who are already overwhelmed by juggling funeral planning with processing this monumental loss in our lives — feeling much more scared, vulnerable, and unsteady. We found sky casket online and called to chat with a representative before making a purchase online. The supposed “owner” (Matthew) of the business answered the phone with a brisk greeting of “Caskets!” (no business name??) and proceeded to spend the next 5-7 minutes executing a hustle so sloppy and blatant that I swore we were speaking to a knock off handbag dealer on Canal St. He evaded our questions aimed at verifying their “guarantee” for on time delivery, shipping methodology, and kept trying to rush us to provide information that would lead to a payment. According to him, we called “just as the truck was about to leave” and they were holding up the truck for us. If we didn’t give him information and a payment ASAP, the casket wouldn’t ship for another few days OR we would have to pay a 50% markup at the funeral home. Their website clearly states that “Next Day Delivery Anywhere in the USA.” We opted to hang up the phone and speak with a more reputable and professional establishment. This same “owner” called back to follow up an hour or so later and, when I told him that we no longer required Sky Casket’s services, he CHUCKLED and told me to have a nice evening. I’m posting this because I hope it will save another grieving family valuable time and emotional bandwidth.

Our website does state Next day delivery. If you order right before midnight it's a little unreasonable to expect the casket at the funeral home at 9 AM the next morning. There's a lot of logistics involved. Conversely, we can get the casket to 1150 PM the next day when the funeral home is closed and there's nobody there. We all know that wouldn't be acceptable despite it being next day. If you call in late in the day there might not be a bunch of loads going out after hours. We don't wait to midnight to have our loads pull off. This would put most of our customers in a bad spot. We do have to work around the funeral home hours as well. I'm sorry to hear that you felt rushed. Sometimes time is of the essence and we do have to stick to a schedule to fulfil other customers orders. I'm glad you were able to get a casket for your loved one and hope you had a beautiful service.

Beware this company has people working for them was very disrespectful and rude. Instead of helping families who are craving their love ones they have workers that are saying inappropriate things and trying to be funny by using slang marking people. Look at the reviews if you don’t believe me.
