“Ferry Marina is one of the larger boat rental companies of the Norfolk Broads with comparably new and modern boats. As shipyard for boat repairs and second hand boats, they have a second branch and as such correspondingly good know-how and reputation among boat owners, so the information when we talked with a skipper of a private boat somewhere near the Ranworth junction. We were received very nicely and got a very good introduction to the handling of the boat. Also during our holiday week our little questions were answered immediately (for example, :-) forgetting to turn off the TV satellite receiver, which then caused a constant and worrysome noise like a working bilge pump). For a pump out, our boat was slipped spontaneously in between other jobs and we were again on the river in no time. Radiant Emblem is a very nice boat, very spacious yet compact in size - and we especially appreciated the upper deck with steering. This allows a great overview for both the ship's command as well as the scenery. We also appreciated the comfortable headroom in the interior, which of course then limits the range of Radiant Emblem somewhat. With a height of 8 ft and 8 in, the journey stops unfortunately at various bridges - but for a week tour this is no issue. There are other boats available in the Emblem Fleet with just the right bridges' height compatibilites. In short, the family was very happy and we can highly recommend the boats and the crew of Ferry Marina. Thanks, guys, for a great holiday week!”

“We found that Ferry Marina offer a five star service. We have been boating regularly since 1979 and used many different boatyards. We only found Ferry recently and will not use any other now.”

“An excellent company with first class staff and well maintained boats. This time I hired Silver Emblem. Easy to drive and, with bow thruster, very easy to moor. Silver Emblem2 is getting on and showing it’s age nevertheless the boat is excellent for 2 persons. The boat is high at 8’3” so won’t go under most bridges which will restrict access to some areas. I liked Ferry Marina so much that I’ve already booked Rose Emblem for next year.”

“This was our first time on Boating holiday so we're a little apprehensive. We were soon put at ease, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had s great time and would certainly recommend and use Ferry Marina again.”

“The boat was exceptionally clean when we arrived. All members of staff, office and crew were very friendly and helpful at all times. I want to single out Ian who was always happy to help and very cheerful and friendly. Thanks to everyone there - we had a wonderful holiday”

“We spent last week on Garnet 2 and were very happy with this lovely boat. The service we received was exceptional and the boat was presented to us spotlessly and ready to go. I think the weather helped us to enjoy our time on this boat as it was sunny all week. We would definitely book our next boating holiday with Ferry Marina, they are the best on the Broads.”

“Very good service, and everyone we met was extremely helpful. We had two minor problems with the boat, one of the blinds fell off the sliding roof, and the mixer tap on the kitchen sink had a persistent drip. This caused the water pump to run, so we just turned off the pump at night. Boat was in very good condition, but I found the manual sliding roof very heavy to move backwards and forwards.”

“Our second visit to Ferry Marina we hired the Mercury Emblem and we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The staff at the boat office and yard are exceptional, very helpful and friendly. The boat was immaculately clean throughout. The beds so very comfy we can highly recommend Ferry Marina.”

“Our first experiece of this boat yard. Very impressed with the attention given by all the staff. The boat was wonderful, ticked all the boxes. Added bonus was the fact that our beds were made up when we arrived - usually such a chore on the first night. We have been visiting the Broads regularly over the past 40 years and this year was one of the best thanks to Ferry Marina.”

“Been having Boating holidays with this company for many years and would not use a different one. Customer service is always superb, as are the boats. We've had many of their boats from old to new and all are impeccably maintained and are always immaculately clean. Faultless and highly recommended.”

“finding the marina not easy. (turn right at what telephone box?) all staff and crew rate 10 / 10 , the boat however only rated a poor 6/10, broken loo, listing to one side, ill fitting sliding canopy”

“Spent a week at the little house.Was loverly,clean and spacious.Located in centre of Horning near restaurants. Would rent again.Fishing is good ,plenty to catch .”

“Was on quartz nice boat for four. Only downside was the table. Its a bit too big and heavy. Otherwise great. Nice people at ferry marina .hopefully will be getting a boat next year .”
