“Dear sirs, I'm disappointed because the item ordered was damaged in transit, I requested that I wanted a replacement on day one it took over a week and half to get it collected, only to find that it was out of stock when received back a depot even though I asked for a replacement non was forthcoming. Disappointed that I missed a good deal because it got trashed in transit! Thank You!”

“The parcel I received had an item missing and contained an item I had not ordered. The items sent were poorly packaged in old ripped polythene bags. The Field and Trek website is useless. The site will tell you that the items you want are in stock, After making an order and completing the payments process, Field and Trek cancel items from your order and then do not give you the option of cancelling the order and reclaiming your payments. When I sent an email complaing about the missing item, I was sent an email asking me to complete some forms and take pictures of the packaging I had received and send it to Field and Trek within two days. The pdf and the doc files could not be opened and did not work to made it impossible to complete them. The whole process is overly complicated and I suspect it is designed to discourage customers from pursuing complaints or claiming for missing items. I would certainly not recommend that anyone orders anything from this very poor quality online retailer. Stay away from them they will cost you more money than they will save you.”

“Only problem was that when I had confirmation of order, the delivery address was not the one I entered originally and I couldn't get in touch by phone to Field and Trek, there was no contact number. On a search someone suggested that you contact Sports Direct. The lady who answered sorted the problem.”

“Quick delivery. Very light poles, but more fiddly to adjust (esp with gloves) than most walking poles. My main use intended to be as tarp poles, with occasional use for river crossings. Not tested yet so can't comment on performance.”

“This is the trouble with buying on-line. You take the sizes at face value and assume they will be correct. I ordered a pair of zip-off trousers (small mens), which, according to the size guide were 30-32 waist. I couldn't even get them past my thighs, despite having a 30" waist. To make matters worse, the leg length would have fit a giraffe!! What weird sizes are these made to? I have returned them (at my cost) and I am waiting for a refund. This will be interesting, as "REFUND" is not one of return codes.”

“Very quick delivery, but unfortunately Keen Venice sandals are running half a size small unlike my original purchase many years ago which have served me extremely well. As Field and Trek don't offer half sizes I have had to return and pay the delivery twice. However the refund for the sandals was quick too, and I have now bought a satisfactory size 5.5 elsewhere, but not at such a good price.”
