“Sent my item in a plastic bag and so item arrived broken. When I informed them about problem they asked me to send them photos of damage and still insisted they needed to receive item back before sending a replacement. So why did they wate my time getting me to send photos ? Appalling customer service, takes ages to get through to speak to somebody. No wonder they hide their telephone number and you have to search for it. When you do find it you come across all the forums with people complaining about their service. When I did get to speak to a manager she kept deliberately speaking over the top of me and then kept going silent and not answering questions. She also kept threatening to put the phone down on me and told me to shut up. Never again.”

“Good pricing, easy to use website. Good ordered, email confirmation, email to say delivery despatched, text to say on its way, email to say time of delivery, test to confirm delivery, email follow up. Can't ask for more. thank you”

“Find the site easy to navigate, great for locating just what I'm looking for. Helpful to be able to roll over images to look at detail - colours true representation. Info on sizing guidance very helpful; mainly accurate, perhaps a little generous if anything. Have bought before and will certainly do again. Worth keeping an eye on the 'Clearance' section for bargains.”

“You can't really complain about a pair of trainers for £12. Delivery within a few days. The trainers fit well (but I've used karrimor before and know they suit my feet) and are light but also supportive. I put them on for the first time yesterday and ran a 9 mile race along a railway path in North Norfolk. No problems at all. All I need is the legs to go with them!”

“To be honest a few years ago I was very happy with the service & products from fieldandtrek.com, but the last three times i've got anything has been poor performance. First I got a vango helium 200, had to send it back cause not only did it have black stains on the fly sheet but it was a different model than advertised with a lower HH level, sent it back. Second time was a pair of boots, they came with a load of soft spots on the sole unit, needed them so had to keep them needless to say the sole lastef no time at all & sqeaked from day one due to the soft spots mentioned. Last I ordered another tent,came in great condition but was the wrong model, now I have to borrow a tent while waiting to get the mix up sorted. So am sorry to say that given a few years ago all I had to say was praise about service, price & product & directed anyone I knew who was looking for a great deal. Now I can't feel that am doing anybody a favour who asks for a reference on a outdoor sales site by directing them to fieldandtrek.com.”
