“first class service from ordering to delivery”

“Great delivery service goods normally arrive within 2 days. , Karrimor and Gelert gear may not be top quality brands but certainly great value for money especially when in the flash sales and prices justify a little compromise on quality. Such as the Gelert equivalent of a Trangia stove just purchased for £13 ... Would I take it on a month long trek? Probably not but certainly good enough for the odd weekend or to hand to teenage sons for use on DoE”

“Wasn't worth paying for next day delivery as that didn't happen. Although I ordered the correct size of shoe they were way too tight and uncomfortable as a result. To add insult to injury I have to return them at my own expense. This all amounts to a very poor customer experience. Surely you can do better? Jim Morrison”

“Great prices and quick delivery. However sizing information on the website was inaccurate (sizes were in US but not stated as such) so had to return shoes for an exchange at my own expense. I emailed Field and Trek to complain but never received a reply, not so much as a sorry or an offer of refund of postage costs.”

“My Gortex Salomon boots leaked after only 3 days' wear, walking the dogs. My socks were cold & wet through. I tried to contact you but was unable to do so. I sent them back using the returns label because I was unable to ask your advice. The postage both ways cost me over £20. I am extremely disappointed with your lack of customer service or care. I had ordered them just before going on our dog walking holiday, last week. When I got home, my boots had been returned me, still soaking wet and now beginning to grow mould from being in a plastic parcel for over a week! I was informed by Sports Direct that 'Having inspected your returned item we are unable to find any manufacturing fault, the reported issue is not covered under warranty..' I don't understand then, what 'Guaranteed waterproof' means?! I am not wealthy, this has cost me over £100 and I still don't have any boots fit for purpose.”

“As the order was so slow to be confirmed. I placed another order, then the original order came through. I straight away contacted you by email to cancel the second order, but have never had a reply. I now have two pairs of shoes ( the shoes are excellent and arrived very promptly) however I now have 2 pairs which have cost me £9.98 to be delivered and I ccurrently have to pay for one to be returned. Please can you contact me so that I can resolve this situation, many thanks.”
