“The web site was easy to navigate. Purchase was easy with every option to pay one could wish for. Choosing items and comparing alternatives was made easy because of the layout of the site. Delivery was quick and on time with online tracking to keep an eye on how the delivery process was progressing. The clearance prices enabled me to save a bundle of cash.”

“I used to buy a lot with Field and Trek, while in the UK, and also while living in the Canary Islands. And I have always been very happy with the service and the quality of the products. Then several orders got lost and I stopped ordering by mail. I now just ordered a jacket (3 in 1) (L 37,99), and the cost of transportation to the Canaries was extremely high (over L 21,-) but as I thought it was worth it I agreed. However then I was informed that DHL passed the jacket through customs and I had to pay an additional € 25,- for customs plus whatever handling costs will be applied. So now the jacket cost me more than double and I have decided to cancel it. So sorry. Hope you will find a way to deliver to Spain and Canary Islands which is not so extremely costly and you will have a happy customer in me again!”

“the gelert cookset is the first one i have bought in 40 years and i am very happy with it.i will have to try it out on my frontier stove sometime this winter,perhaps when we have some snow.i have not worn my riggers yet but i will the next time i'm cutting up wood for my multifuel home stove.”

“i like field and trek / sportsdirect. you need to be careful with what you order. in my opinion they are best value with the middle order range of goods - their cheap stuff is exactly that. cheap (avoid). their expensive stuff is the same price as the high street, so not really worth it. but they have lots of mid range goods, that are significantly cheaper than the same stuff found on the high street. shop wisely and it's worth it.”
