“Incredibly light and small for the size of tent it is - I researched lots and it's the lightest one I could find. Enough space to line up bits and bobs beside your sleeping mat and a bit more space outside the inner. Don't know exactly where I'd put a 65L pack though... I'll have to work that one out. The outer isn't that well ventilated so there was lots of condensation in the morning, but both inner and outer are waterproof, so I didn't really mind as this happens to all tents. The highest point in the tent was enough to sit, but you had to slouch a little, you can't sit up cross legged, so not so great if planning on spending long periods of time in there, but I was looking for a backpacking tent, not a camping or festival tent, so overall I'm very happy with it.”

“I have used f&t before and have always found the value excellent, running and cycling gear take a pounding and I have no budget for £80 articles of clothing that fall apart, trainers at £30 a pair will last as long as £120 pairs. At these prices you have access to other sports.”

“Came on time. Communication could be more timely re when the tent had been dispatched (trying to time it so I was at home). the Tent bag ripped on the first outing but thats a manufacturing issue. It was a Vanga 500 ISIS tent.”

“THE ITEMS ORDERED WERE AS DESCRIBED AND GOOD VALUE. THE ONLY ISSUES WITH FIELD AND TREK ONLINE ARE THAT IN MOST CASES I WANT NEXT DAY DELIVERY AND ALTHOUGH YOU STATE THAT YOU OFFER THIS IN REALITY YOU DON'T BECAUSE THE ONLY OPTION GIVEN IS STANDARD DELIVERY THE OTHER ISSUE IS CONTACT , IOT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO ANYBODY AND WHEN YOU EMAIL IT TAKES DAYS FOR ANYBODY TO COME BACK AND EVEN THEN THEY NEVER HAVE A SATISFACTORY ANSWER. THESE ISSUES WILL LOOSE ORDERS FOR F&T AND THEY NEED ADDRESSING.”

“I have used Field and Trek several times before without any problem although delivery is not quick. This time however the service was exceptionally poor and I will think very carefully about using them again. I made an order for a sleeping bag and rucksack. I selected overnight delivery and paid the extra charge. Despite it leaving the warehouse on time it wasn't delivered the following day. The day after that it was still not showing as out for delivery so I contacted F&T using the only option open to customer - an online form! I got a generic response advising that the item had been dispatched. I called the yodel who advised that they have been given 3 days to get it delivered, but that they would contact the local office to see if they could get it out in the afternoon. I then tried submitting another online for to F&T. Yodel returned my call to say that they would get it out in the afternoon which was great, but then several hours later F&T replied to the form to say that they were sorry and that they'd cancelled the order and would provide a refund. I remain very unhappy about several things: 1) why offer next day delivery, take an extra fee and then give yodel three days to deliver. 2) if customers are so important, why not give them a means to speak to someone at F&T 3) if someone had called me I could have explained the up to date state of play. As it happened my daughter went off to scout camp without the correct kit and no one seems to care at F&T. Think very carefully before using this company.”
