“Bought a Flavel Diamond gas fire for a new extension from them. Having placed the order they came back with an additional £50 delivery charge. We were not able to fit the fire immediately due to delays in the building work, but when we did, it was faulty and gave out CO. The fire itself is very poorly made. When I contacted them for a refund, they just fobbed me off.”

“Paid for fireplace and order confirmed. Advised it wasn’t in stock and they would refund me. Despite several phone calls and promises I didn't receive the refund. Eventually was refunded by PayPal!”

“Never ever use this company. Won't give me a return label to send item back and get refund. Won't acknowledge my email. Won't give me complaints procedure. Take your money and that's End off. Their T&C don't even comply with the law to protect your consumer rights.”

“Never ever use this company. No returns policy on their website and no complaints procedure. Terms and conditions are only at point of check but link to them doesn't open. Never replied to my emails or messages on their Facebook page. Left with a fire I cannot use because fire specifications on their website are not the same as those of the manufacturer.”

“d this company I ordered from this company 6 weeks ago and they emailed saying they had the wrong price listed on their website and asked for an additional £170. I declined to pay this extra charge and asked for a refund. 6 weeks later I am still waiting and they keep giving different excuses that accounts re not in or on holiday. I have had to make a PayPal claim to get my refund and they tried to get me to close the case tricking me but after reading may reviews online which state they do this to all their customers I’m glad I didn’t not trust them. AVOID at all costs don’t put yourself through the stress!!!!”

“Only giving a 1 star because 0 is not an option. Please avoid these crooks. Don't put yourself through the stress of trying to purchase a product from them. I bought a fire suite, to find they didnt have it in stock and then asked for £140 on top as the model i wanted was incorrectly priced. The asian chap, needs to look up good customer service skills. When asking for a refund they told me 2 days then 2 weeks because accounts were not in. So i went to PayPal and left them no choice but to refund. Absolutely disgraceful service. AVOID!!!”

“This company is very very poor. They said the had stock when they didnt. They said they would refund me in 2-3 days - 7 days later I am still chasing. I would not recommend them and wont use them again”

“About the only thing this company did efficiently was refund me, after I waited over two months for an electric fire. They don't ring back, they fob you off with e-mails promising your order will be on their next shipment and generally delay matters until you demand your money back. Claiming to have 100,000 square feet of warehouse space, I think the true picture is half a dozen Asian kids on telephones chancing their arm by buying seconds and returns. Don't risk it.”

“They have provided a fireplace that is incorrect. They don’t reply to emails, fob you off on the phone, blame suppliers. They have £500 of our money for a fireplace that’s useless to us. Please save yourself a lot of stress, time and money and use another company.”

“Customer service is non existent. Fail to reply to phone calls and emails. Had phone put down on me mid conversation. Been lied to repeatedly. They sent the wrong fire after repeated calls to find out what was happening then had the cheek to try charging me £20 to collect the one they’d sent wrong! Absolute bunch of shysters. Spend your money at a shop and avoid the headache of dealing with these idiots!”

“DO NOT BUY anything from this company ,it’s the worse service I have ever had ! Iv waited over 3 weeks for a fire it’s still not turned up after numerous phone calls and emails.Iv been lied to , ignored and had the phone put down on me .It’s still on going so don’t know weather I’ll ever get the fire or a refund that Iv asked for .A one star rating is too much for this so called company”

“Do not ever buy anything from this dealer. I’ve had an ongoing issue with them for over 6 months. They’ve mis-sold me a marble backplate that I didn’t require and yet I was charged for. They’ve refused to take it back & to refund me. My order came weeks apart & was rusty with parts broken. They’ve clearly got no regard for the customer & they shouldn’t even be trading in my opinion. My advice would be to buy local because fireplaces4life are rip off merchants with no conscience!!!”

“Absolutely disgusted with this company. Never use them. They sent a bed that was faulty and I had to glue some of it myself. Then all the wheels fell off. I contacted them and they were not willing to do anything about it.”

“NEVER BUY anything from this company i have been 6 weeks waiting for a fire which they say has been delivered it has not been emailing 3 weeks all i get is is fobbed of every time asked for money not a chance from them. I am taking it further to get money back ordered a fire from another supplier so do not buy from them.”

“Do not buy anything from this Company. I ordered a fire with remote control in August. I was contacted to say that they now did not do this model with a remote control only manual which I was quite happy to have and was cheaper, they did not refund me the difference. When the fire arrived it was damaged so had to return it. The damaged fire was delivered to them on 27th August by Parcelforce with proof of signature that it had been received. I am still waiting for a refund of £526.00. I am now going to take this matter further, this company is an absolute disgrace.”
