“I have been a resident for the past 18 months. I rent my flat. I have found first port to be prompt and efficient when I have contacted them to fix a couple of problems in my flat. Given the situation with cvid19 they do a good job under difficult circumstances. Our site manager is friendly, helpful and gets things done. Having rented for years from various landlords I can say I'm happy with my flat and the other residents.”
“I reached out to the company for sizing advice. It was completely off. I was swimming in the shirts and sweatshirt. I sent the items back for a smaller size. After not hearing anything for two months, I reached out to the company for an update. They strung me along with excuses and lies about the items having be shipped. I disputed the charges with my credit card company and only then did they mail me the new items. Of the three items, one was received damaged with a noticeable black stain on the front. I'm so beat down by them that I'm still debating if its worth my time and energy to get a replacement. Worst shopping experience I've ever gone through.”
“Pegasus Court in Leatherhead. My home is a spacious, comfortable 2 bed apartment. The building with its Juliet balconies looks inviting, is carpeted throughout, and surrounded by a lovely garden and 2 car parks: one for visitors, and the other gated underground one for the residents. Our development manager, efficient, friendly and helpful, makes sure that house and garden are well maintained and checks that everything within the communal areas is always in working order and to the standard of Health and Safety regulations. Her priority is the safety and well-being of the residents. Thanks to her and my lovely neighbours I feel safe and happy here. Thank you, Sara, you are a star. The service charges are rather high, but you get what you pay for!”
“Our father moved into Rivendell Court, Hall Green in May this year, it was a very stressful time as he could not go back to his house after a fall. We as a family had a lot of help and support from Robert Cartwright, the development manager. Rivendell has a nice atmosphere about it and is very well organised, I'm a frequent visitor and place is always clean and tidy and Robert is always around so that in itself is good peace of mind, and dad seems settled and comfortable in his flat. Dad enjoyed the lovely garden in the good weather.”

“I have lives under their management for 3 years, with multiple concerns which were escalated, and never acted on; multiple formal complaints, with no outcome. No hot water in the winter with a manager on site who locks herself in the office and never acts on concerns raised, saying nothing had been reported to her. AVOID! COMPANY lacking of moral and ethical principles”

1- It is not a company to be trusted. They work to rip you off, that is all.
2- My building has been ruined since they took over and I will mention only a few things of MANY.
Rooftop ruined because they are not bothered in YEARS to take care of it ( irrigation system not working, plants dead, plants not replaced, dirty floor, not cleaning at all and we keep paying for this monthly )
There is CERO maintenance in the building, light bulbs missing in the lift, more than 10 light bulbs are just off and never replaced, frames from reception stolen and not replaced, cleaning is non-existing, bin area is disgusting, they decided not to do jetwashing anymore by our entrance and there is pee and dog poo constantly, carpet ruined and never replaced.
Window cleaning has been a joke, it happens whenever it suits them, but we still pay for it.
The lift is constantly out of service, ongoing issue.
The terrible smell from the bin area come all the way to the lifts and reception, we mentioned this several times and no one cared.
They constantly change staff and there is no handover in between them, therefore everything is constantly behind.
I have emailed several times about all issues and they keep ignoring me for years.
I wish I could attach pictures so whoever is reading this review will think twice before buying a property with this company who does not care about anything.
First Port you should be ashamed of your services while we pay you in full.”
“Worst worst worst company - avoid at all costs... If I had known what I know now about this ‘management company’ I wouldn’t have bought my flat. Don’t expect to be able to speak to anyone on the phone, as I write this I called at 9am on the dot and 38 minutes later still on hold, this is the 4th day in a row trying to speak to someone!”
