If I could score into minus's, that would have been my first option. I have had the misfortune of dealing with this woeful Organization since 2009, under their range of guises, Peverel, Solitaire, OM Property Management and now First Port. Same shambles, and the same appalling approach to dealing with their customers. Management and service fees are as transparent as frozen mud. I urge anyone who has the pain of dealing with First Port to speak to your local Member of Parliament, so that they can at lease pursue your matter via "Levelling Up"

Currently living in Porterbrook 2, Sheffield which is managed by this company. Will be leaving in a few months in big part because of them. It is absolutely impossible to get anything fixed or get in touch with anyone who manages this building. A water leak has been destroying walls on the top floor for weeks and no action has been taken which is hardly surprising when the ceiling of the first floor hallways have been collapsed in with water damage since last year. The lift breaks constantly and there is zero airflow through the building so you're climbing 10 sets of stairs easily reaching 35 degrees in temperature on a warm day. If you need to access your electric meter, just forget about it. There is no one who officially checks the meters even though your letting agent will tell you there is. The fire alarm used to go off for 24 hours at a time as it was faulty (cutting off all hot water and heating to the building) and was not fixed until the council got involved and a warning was issued by the local fire department. But no amount of tenants calling FirstPort was enough for them to fix it, even after a year had passed with the alarm blaring for 24 hours+ once every couple of weeks. I feel like living here has been a psychological experiment because of the things FirstPort will put you through that in any other building would be important matters sorted the same day or at least within a few days. FirstPort make their money by pocketing whats left of the allowance for repairs at the end of the year and they are happy to pocket every single penny of that instead of doing literally a single thing. Do not rent in a building managed by this company unless your option is homelessness and under no circumstances purchase a property being managed by this company. From what I've heard its next to impossible to get it sold when you realise what you've done and want to leave as FirstPort won't give you any paperwork you need to get that done. Absolutely criminal company, will most definitely go under with lawsuits within the next 10 years

They really are the worst, recently have had no running water for 4 days (not the first time). First Port have been increasingly neglectful over 5 years in charge of our building, amounting to corruption. A constant rotation of new 'property Manager' fodder take the brunt of the residents' despair. We are currently taking legal action.

Very odd company. I was told to contact Freemont, the previous management company, about an invoice only to discover that Freemont are a part of First Port. The fire alarm in my residence should be tested once a week but has not sounded for six months. I have reported this to our local fire service in the hope that they will scare First Port into doing their job.

Absolutely appalling company, with horrible customer service, horrible work ethics and horrible managing skills. They don't even take complaints seriously, as they arbitrarily close them without even checking with whoever has raised them. Avoid at all costs, shameful company.

What an incapable company on ground maintenance and general management of an estate. Leaving the once well kept Estate looking good with grass cut and general maintenance carried out. Since taking over it’s gone down hill.

SCAMMERS: I kept requesting paper invoice to be sent as I do not check my mail. Every time they charge me penalty without me knowing that it is due. Such a horrile company, has very bad customer service. I would reccomend different property management as these guys are just taking money for not doing anyting. Keep increasing charges and their lifts are always out of service.

Hello folks. I will be riding to your rescue shortly! In my experience and those of the leaseholders of Crowthorne Lodge, FirstPort are worthless, incompetent scum. FirstPort's clueless legal team - remember, truth defeats defamation!!! Having had years of dealing with this company , I have to say I have never experienced such poor service. Every problem I have reported to them never gets replied to or sorted. The company has no desire to look after their customers and offer a first rate service. Many times I have rung them to get a problem solved. I have lost count of the half an hour to answer the phone and on many occasions the lines been cut off. My advise avoid at all costs

I just read the last reviews: 1)Poor expensive management lacking knowledge and experience 2)This is the worst management company 3)Socking customer service, rubbish actual maintenance etc.. 4)Truly disappointed and looking for answers... 5)Dishonest, incompetent, management at its worst... 6)Absolute Joke of a company 7)Awful company Those are the fist 7 comments I read, not one good point....and I sadly fully agree with all of them.....it says it all...how can they still be on the market? Bizarre...they need a compliance company to check them....urgently....

Should be called lastport, absolute shambles. Waited for over 6 months for them to action my report of a restrictive covenant breach by a neighbour which is having a massive impact on my property and life, only to be told by my estate manager Philip Anderton that he had filled out the wrong form. I’ve decided to no longer pay my service charge abd will probably end up fighting baliffs and in court. I regret the day i bought my house with this company in charge of the estate management service.

How many times do First Port have to Be informed a property has been sold - Answer ……. No one knows including their property team ! Property sold January 2023 and still they send us invoices . Paid a fortune on sellers packs what’s the point - they are in breach of their duty - im going to the press about these absolute sham of a company !!

Health hazard - vulnerable person held to ransom Leaving a vulnerable person held to ransom to give authorisation to an a potential unknown cost when they have sewage coming up through their toilet for 2 weeks. Once under duress agreed, they book the plumber 5 minutes before they close leaving it another 24 hours or if they can get an on call plumber 3 time the potential cost. Vulnerable person ended up breaking down and became unwell due to the turmoil and stress. I feel this very poor customer service with no vulnerable person policy to speak off is shocking and I feel this may go right up to director level. One of the case workers was on chat and a director won't deal with it just said escalate it up the chain of command. Totally disgusted by this shocking company whose websites values are laughable:- Trust (We’re open and honest – we keep the promises we make.) - wrong on all levels Respect (We seek an inclusive environment which promotes empathy and care for each other.) - again no sympathy and heartless especially to vulnerable person. Integrity (We have strong moral principles. We do as we say.) - They don't and I would say more like bullying a vulnerable person. Innovation (We welcome change as a way to nurture a growth mindset.) Delivery (We work together to deliver the most effective solution in a timely manner.) - Hmmm 2 weeks and escalated for the last 24 hours and still no resolve doesn't seem timely to me.

If I could give them zero I would. High charges but if u want move house they scam you and ignore you for the most part and then they lie and lie again. They broke my house chain, causing hundreds of pounds of additional costs. They lose money Sent to them even if the bank confirms it. You can spend hours on the phone to get through to them and when u speak to them they are as much use as a chocolate fireguard. For most people they have a captive market, but if u can avoid them, do. I can't believe that any Company can be so inept, so I can only presume that this is by design.

Awful company- awful customer service- expect to talk to a person who has no idea what they are doing. They will charge you through the nose on services without providing you with proof of what they are charging you for.

Really poor customer service. When they have your money they wont refund you the surplus and make you jump through hoops. If you are one day late on paying them or they are in a deficient its a very different story, they demand the money, admin fees, solicitors letters etc.... Really poor company to deal with.

I purchased a property that took nearly 2 years to complete due to the massive delays in First Port responding to my solicitors with property queries ( 6 months to answer 2 questions as one example). Due to this delay the property was sat empty for this time so when I moved in the boiler didn't work (no heating or hot water in February with temperatures of -2C) Still 4 weeks later still no authorisation from First Port for my plumber to install a new boiler despite repeatedly calling First Port who say they are waiting for another department to authorise this!!!! Absolutely disgusting to leave a single young woman with no heating or hot water in the Winter because of inept communication and lack of any reasonable procedures!!

Absolute Joke of a company. I raised three queries over a month ago after being sent a "late payment" letter for charges that they haven't actually invoiced. The road on our estate has a physical drop that has already damaged multiple vehicles and they've left it that way for 6 months so far. They've now closed off our query after sending an email saying "we haven't been able to respond in time" as if that's an acceptable result?! We still haven't had an invoice for the estate charges but First Port think it's acceptable to charge an extra £80 admin fee on top of the balance that we've been querying for 6 weeks. Complete shambles!

Dishonest, incompetent Management at its worst. The level of so called management is the worst I have seen in over 40yrs. Because we are retired they treat you as idiots.
