“Do not consider Flash Pack tours as a solo traveler. Their days are strenuous, with 7 a.m. wake-ups, long bus rides, and brief visits to only one attraction daily. The food options were mainly street food tours or low-quality restaurants. We didn't explore historical centers or gain much insight into Vietnam and Cambodia. The itinerary included numerous hikes and bike rides, such as one through a condo development. They prioritize cost-cutting. Hotels were decent, but we stayed in 9 hotels over 13 days and spent only one day in major cities, missing the Royal Palace and historical centers. I was miserable and recommend avoiding Flash Pack tours for solo travelers.
Don't waste your money, I know little about Vietnam and Cambodia due to Flash Pack's poor planning.”
“Do not use this company it is a Scam!
Please read this before booking ignore at your peril! Had the misfortune of going on one these misadventures recently and it was a terrible expirance,
1) It claims to focus on fellowship and brining people together, but the tour guide does nothing to facilate this resulting in this being little more than a marketing ploy to hook you in.
2) You pay alot for not alot - of the weekend tour we only had activities booked for less than half of it the rest was 'free time' in which we had to pay to get into town (due to the hotels poor location) our food etc.
3) Aside from the ridiculous high costs for the tour we also had to pay for the following;
> Tips (totalling an extra £100)
> 2 Lunches, 1 Dinner and all drinks for any meal we went on (including water!)
> Transport
Be warned use at your Peril!!!”
“Flash Pack offers terrible service for the price they charge, which is advertised as quality. That’s supposed to be set them apart from other tour companies.
I took the Southern Italy trip with them in May. The entire tour group was extremely disappointed by the very subpar service they delivered. The trip was 5.5k, and the service delivery was probably worth no more than 1.5k. The trip can be summed up as basically a cheap bus tour for Rome down to Sorrento to Matera to Puglia. We didn’t even have water in the bus, considering 50% of the trip took place on the bus. The hotels were at extreme best 3 stars, with no amenities or very cheap rooms. The boat trips advertised was super cheap, with limited food served in paper plates and minimal water/drinks.
Do not book with them! Extremely poor quality for the price charged! You will be very disappointed.”
“I just took a trip to New Zealand through Flash Pack and it was super disappointing. The company admitted via email that they ran the trip too early and should have offered a chance to cancel but then just offered me a refund of $600 for my feedback and really my money back for not being able to snorkel with the dolphins (1 or many activities that did not happen on this trip). I paid this tour company over $6k and they couldn’t book various activities that they advertised and not to mention they didnt realize everything would be closed on Christmas so we were stuck at hotel for lunch then a picnic in the park. This is not at all what I expected when booking a holiday, especially for this high price. I will never trust this company again with my time and money. This company has grown too fast and can not keep up with their same quality of service. Such a disappointment!”
“Flashpack is an unethical company only concerned about their own revenue.
Flashpack have failed to comply with their own T&Cs and European law and UK legislation.
Flashpack have acted irresponsibly & selfishly. They are withholding refunds from trips they’ve cancelled which they are legally obligated to refund within 14 days (according to both EU law & UK legislation).
My own personal experience saw Flashpack refuse my refund for weeks, then when they finally give me a due date for my refund (30th April), when a week before it’s due I send them a reminder email they respond with generic text advising that they can no longer refund me by this date but now hope to refund me by 31st July!
I have no reason to believe that this will happen as the company have failed to do anything to give me any confidence in them.
The cofounder phoned me last week and even openly agreed with me that ‘Flashpack have not handled this well and that their customer service is terrible’.
Yet knowing how badly his company are dealing with this...
When I shared the UK legislation with Flashpack, they had the nerve to respond email me saying that ‘they will no loner reply to emails in regards to the status of my refund’
Please don’t book a trip with this company, you can’t have any trust or confidence in them.
I’ve added a photo of their T&Cs to try and give anyone reading this confidence that my experience above is genuine.”
