“the course was utterly pointless, it was entirely focused on regulation and legal liability issues for companies and there was not a jot of common sense being taught. what needed to be known could have been ondensed down into a much sorter course in which t hey key points were reitterated so the trainees could learn through repatition. as it was it felt like a manotinus waste of half of a day of my life and im disgusted that i was forced to go through this humiliation just because three is a regulatory beurocratic stranglhold on the throat of the british food industry.”
“awful, questions did not relate to theory, conflicting answers in the handbook and health and safety regs online. if you fail a module you have to sit and listen to the voice slowly waffle on without the ability to skip, the theory you are asked to repeat is suposed to be related to the question you got wrong, however it does not tell you which one you got wrong so that you can revise acordingly, and then the questions change every time you have to redo a module.
Check the question about the maximum fine, as the theory says unlimited, the handbook does not have an answer, and online it says it depends on which court, it could be unlimited for crown, or £20,000 for magistrates. both of which are answers to the question, but the theory and the handbook and the quetion do not state which court.”
“Paid for Level 2 Food Hygiene and after being given various log in passwords and redirected to various different websites was still unable to access the course so I gave up.”
“Out of date and next to impossible to do. Given up on it. My daughter who is a chef came round to help and couldn't believe how outdated and complicated this was. Obscure questions and very stressful to do. Looking at a different provider”
“Extremely clunky and very very long to get through the training. There should be an option to not have to listen to the audio because I can read a lot quicker than the audio. The training could have been done in less than 30mins if we weren’t forced to listen to the audio”
“Came up as blocked site on my broadband buddy under Malware, Spyware and Phishing. Contacted them , and said I needed to do the course that day, and can they find out if it's safe or not. Didn't get a call back, so paid for another course from a different website. Only to find out it's the same training provider. As it didn't come up as blocked through that site I proceeded to do the course, only then it wouldn't add the course. I took a day off work , am self employed, so I have lost a day's income . Attitude of this company very poor initially, they have refunded the courses but only as I sent a breach of contract letter. I have received an inappropriate spam email, they laughed when I spoke about it. Very unprofessional all round.”
“The course is far too slow and takes far too long to complete.
The modules have made me repeat them, despite them saying that I have already passed that module, hence I have still not finished this course.
I have had repeated conversations with admin support - been told that the course is not supported by certain browsers - the courses should be accessible from any computer when they have been paid for. Poor.”
“Never received course apparently you have to have a computer or tablet I don’t so I wanted to do it on my phone and was never received so waste of money”
“This course was the worst food safety course I have ever done, boring, repetative, ridiculously long too. Having to resit each section until you pass just adds time not knowledge, you end up not caring about the answers but just wanting to get through it.”
