“Spoke to fotosense re a Panasonic camcorder, asking about a spare battery. This was not on their website. The guy said it would be available on their site within the hour. A week later it was still not there. Received an email offering 5% discount on any camera purchase. On attempting to use this it did not work. Phoned and was told the discount would not work anyway.. Emailed and asked why they offered a discount. No reply. I wonder what Trading Standards would have to say about this?”

“Excellent service and communication via the web based ticket system. Although surprised that the camera case offered as a bundle item was too small for the camera purchased, return and refund for the item was handled quickly.”

“Excellent price on Internet. Phoned to check item really was in stock; phone answered promptly and my questions all answered. I then placed internet order, selected free delivery (3 - 5 days) but in fact DPD delivered next morning. I do very much like DPD's delivery service - getting email notice of one-hour time slot is really useful, and they do always (in my experience) deliver when they say they will. Happy to recommend Fotosense assuming the price is right.”

“The whole experience of buying a Elinchrom BRX 500 light has been a pleasure from Fotosense. The order was taken over the phone and was hassle free. The delivery and associated tracking system was the best that I have encountered. The delivery was speedy and exactly at the time that was specified. The Elinchrom light is great and does what I want it to do and should be a good workhorse for many years to come. As price of the light was very competitive from Fotosense this stopped me looking at buying a secondhand head as I have the advantage of a manufactures gurantee. I will be using Fotosense again to buy additional items and have appreciated the great service given. Many thanks”

“My order was placed Tue 10 Mar with 3-5 day delivery specified and confirmation was received stating "Once package ships, e-mail will be sent with a link to track order". Notification received Thu 12 Mar that order was being processed and should be dispatched 13 Mar. E-mail received Tue 17 Mar notifying that order was shipped by Second Class Recorded and a tracking number was supplied. This was 7 days after placing the order and there was no link to track the order. Order received Thu 19 Mar which was 9 days after placing the order. I was very satisfied with the items eventually received as ordered and the price paid but a little disappointed in the time taken for delivery against that specified which coupled with a gap in correspondence and no tracking link led to an anxious period. This is the only reason I've rated 4 star instead of 5 star.”

“I recently purchased a Panasonic HC-V270 camcorder from fotosense after investigating the marketplace for price and availability. Fotosense offered the most inexpensive price, considering they included a three year warranty and a delivery time between 3 to 5 days. After ordering I was emailed to be told that the camera was on delay from the manufacturers but they would put it on next day delivery. In fact, the camera was delivered within the 3 to 5 days thanks,I am sure, to the involvement of the very polite and efficient customer services people I talked with. Well done, I am pleased to recommend them based on my experience.”

“The Barr and Stroud 8x42 ED Binoculars are excellent, and amazing value. Due to their open bridge design and clever shaping they are the most comfortable binoculars I've ever owned. Clarity is excellent, with no loss of focus or discolouration at the edges. The service from Fotosense was first class - with sensible pricing and super fast delivery. I'm well impressed and would not hesitate to recommend manufacturer and supplier to my friends.”

“After trawling through ebay to find the item I wanted I decided to go shopping for it on Google. I found the item, new, at the Fotosense store at well below the prices bid on ebay. So I bought it ( including free postage). I was surprised and pleased when it arrived within two days. Excellent service!!”
