“I chose the Savon de Marseille Cube (Natural) because I want to move to 'pure as possible' soaps. I use baby shampoo to wash because I have very sensitive skin but it still contains lots of chemicals. However, after showering with the Marseille soap, I found it caused more irritation than the baby shampoo so I won't be using it. Such a shame.”

Bonjour Sheena, I am sorry to hear you had some irritation after using the soap. I can assure you these cubes are 100% natural and contain no nasties, so I have to assume that perhaps you have an allergy to one of the few ingredients. The good news is that the natural cube you have is excellent for laundry and household cleaning too, so it shouldn't go to waste. “Sadly, I was advised my order was complete on 16/3 but there is no sign of any soap so it is unclear what this company means by complete! No further information or updates and tracking not a cessible either.”

I am sorry you misunderstood 'Order Complete' - this is when we have picked, packed and sent your order. Some parcels are taking slightly longer to arrive due to the COVID-19 situation. Although in fairness, you ordered 5 days ago, so I would say that it is late to arrive.

“Payment has been made for more than two weeks yet no updates from Ken despite several emails to him requesting for tracking number and shipment details. No sign of product and I don’t think it’s even shipped out yet. During pre-sales, his replies were prompt and once payment was made, radio silence. Is this a scam??”

I assume from your comments that you haven't received my email correspondence explaining the situation with your order. I apologise for that. It is interesting that you would use the word scam, suggesting that we are in some way trying to cheat people when you asked me to alter the import invoices so as not to pay import taxes in Singapore. Isn't it ironic? Don't you think? I am very sorry you no longer have confidence in us, and I have refunded your payment. Ken

Occasionally we make mistakes, and things can go wrong, and when that happens, we gladly hold up our hands and accept the criticism that stems from that. We always try our very best to put things right. However, this isn't one of those times. Your order for a bottle of liquid soap arrived promptly and in good order. Your criticism was that we 'massacred the beautiful French language' by missing off an accent on a French word in the newsletter you received. An email exchange ensued where you proceeded to fly personal accusations including calling me a liar, at which point I asked you to refrain from emailing further. You are entirely entitled to leave this review, as I am to respond to it, but it is a shame you felt the need to, and we both know it is unjustified. Ken

Bonjour, I am so sorry you haven't had a response. I have just issued an explanation by email to everyone explaining that following a mini-tornado a few weeks ago, we have had slow, sporadic or no internet connection and have been unable to reply to emails, telephone messages or process orders. Our service provider assures us that everything is OK now so your order is being processed now. Again, I am very sorry for your frustration. Naturally yours, Sophie
