“Bought from here because they had the item I wanted at the best price. Although they were the cheapest I can't fault the service. Everything was sent out as promised and was ell packaged, etc. Due to a problem with the courier I did have to phone but the customer service was great. Happy to recommend and would use again”

“I had recently tried to return 2 faulty Cleese CSR485 OPSO manual changeover regulators at your shop, and although the staff were fantastic to deal with, I was very disappointed with your returns policy, as I had to buy 2 replacement regulators and was told I could be waiting 6 weeks on a refund. This seems very unfair that I have to be out this extra money during the significant waiting time for refund.”

Thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us. Our Returns Policy, on our website, states that all faulty products are brought back to be tested either in our warehouse or sent back to the manufacturer. Unfortunately, manufacturer testing can take up to 6 weeks to complete. We do not give replacement products until testing has been carried out as in some cases the product is not faulty. If a product is not faulty, the customer has to get the product back as we are unable to put the product back into stock once gas has been passed through. If a customer needs the product during this time unfortunately they have to purchase a replacement. If the returned product is found to be faulty then a full refund will be given. All information regarding faulty products is available on our website.

“I ordered a stainless steel chimney cowl. Its quality appears acceptable though the finish could be a bit better. What I found disappointing is the online customer responsiveness. HGP have a link to "Ask the Expert." From the questions posted as well as my own experience, HGP clearly have no experts to ask. Those answers as well as my own merely provide a link to ask someone else! In my case, HGP took a full week to supply its referral to an actual (outside) expert. I'm unlikely to buy here again.”
