“The assembly instructions are very poor. You have to screw into metal holes (to attach the feet) smaller than the screw. I phoned for guidance and was told that they get a lot of calls re this and I should persevere. I’m not disabled but could not succeed. I was told they would call me back but this never happened. Re the gas, it states 3 sizes- the largest of which, the gas-provider told me, was enough to heat a house. The wire that joins the thermostat to the heater is so short the probe can only go a few inches about the heater - not at the level you want heated. Now that I have it set up, it’s fine, but I wish I’d bought a different heater from a different company.”

“I bought a 12 volt DC solenoid gas valve and all the purchase process went smoothly and efficiently. The product that was delivered, however, came with terminals that were not marked positive or negative, and the technical documentation I downloaded from Hamilton's web site didn't tell me either! I will find out by trial error - I just hope that connecting it the wrong way in that process doesn't damage the valve!”
