Did not make me happy! Four times I had to contact them for the documentation. Very poor customer service!

Not the best insurance I've had. Took 8 working days to get my insurance details through. Never told me how to produce documents (no claims or driving license number) until I received an email stating my policy would be cancelled in 7 days if they didn't receive them. I assume this is a generic response but surely I should have been informed about this at the time of receiving my documents? Then to top it all off, they attached the wrong driving license number to my file then rang me saying your driving license and policy name don't match! Can't say I'm surprise as it was a totally different person - this took atleast 2 attempts to rectify! Hopefully I'll never claim as I hold no faith and fingers crossed, come renewal I can insure with another company!

Not a very professional service provided. Staff not interested in helping. Very expensive admin charges applied to every policy. Will not be insuring with them again.

A customer who never claimed paid annually, couldn't better their offer which had increased by over 30 quid on a car that over the year would have depreciated!!! When asking to match another quote they couldn't even come near it! 50 quid more expensive and only 25 quid cheaper then what the original renewal price was! Not great for keeping loyal customers!!!

Asked for share licence number 3 times when it has been sent and been given driver number as well. Did everything I was told and got no help so fed up. Been trying to sort this out for a few months.

I have took out a policy today with BG - after reading the reviews i am worried now! the process today took nearly 50 mins and I had already put all the information in myself online! the advisor kept putting me on hold - longest time was for 8 minutes and no apology when she came back on the line ! (basics in Customer Service ?) I needed the insurance to start straight away as needed to drive car today , the customer adviser said i was insured but i drove the car today feeling unsure about what she had told me ! I have not had an email yet to confirm my insurance - (8 hours later ! ) so i am just taking her word for it that I am insured ... in the past with other insurance companies i get an email straight away to confirm ! I hope i can come back on this site in a few weeks and say I was wrong for doubting them ! will keep you undated ...

Having being a previous customer for several years (but went with a different insurer last year as it was a lot cheaper) I stupidly thought it would be straight forward renewing the same vehicle same drivers at the same address but no, after several emails from different people regarding driving licences no claims discount it took weeks, wasn`t worth the hassle for a few pound`s,

Been with this company 1 year moved house and never had a problem only thing is my renewed price went up £17 but I've had no issues at all quite like them been helpful everytime I've called. Think I'll still use them again cos they have actually given me the cheapest quote.

Every insurance policy ive ever had all ive had to send is proof of no claims yet with these am still now forwarding documents to and frow! Really unhappy with my whole experiance so far!! God help me if i need to make a claim! First and last time il be using you..

I don't think it's been very clear how I will receive my documents, i haven't received anything yet. The lady who rang me to go through the policy wasn't particularly clear and spoke quite quickly about the policy - I'm sure she gets bored of repeating it every time to new customers but for me I am a fist time customer and it's important I understand the detail around my policy.

Yes, price was good, however, the competency has to be questioned. Apart from the extortionate cost to contact them and at least 10 minutes waiting time they seem to not record information properly. I have spoken to them on six different occasions to tell them when I emailed requested documents over and every time they say it will be looked into only to receive another chasing letter through the post. I really hope there wont be a need to make a claim because I'm not sure my nerves will ne able to stand it. Will not ever touch again!!!

They took the installment out after the cancellation of policy and have still not reimbursed the payment. There reply was , due to non fault claim made under the policy they can not reimburse the payment until the case was closed, thus it can take up to 1 year. I will highly recommend people to be aware of them and the staff was extremely non helpful over the phone.

4 day delay in sending digital copies of insurance documents, despite payment having been processed at P.O.S immediately. Was assured would receive calls and didn't. Although polite, service leaves MUCH to be desired. Wouldn't choose again with hindsight.
