“I went with carrot as it was the.cheapest insuranace quote that I had and the policy seems to be good even though the black.box gets fitted its good that you get rewarded by having money back”

“Carrot Insurance are a great way for young new drivers to get started on the road. With weekly updates by email, you are kept completely informed as to your driving standards along the way. Although insurance premiums are high as a new young driver, Carrot came out the cheapest compared to all the others.”

“I went with carrot as it was the cheapest, since then I have tried to get hold of customer services via email and phone and just get passed around and put on hold so that has to be the one bad thing about them, other than that they are good apart from 2 occasions when the box has given incorrect feedback!”

“I was unaware that the black box measures the softness, duration and speed. When on the phone purchasing the insurance he just told me it measured me on my speed. Since having my insurance I haven't once went over the speed limits having a 10+ score but the softness is giving me negative scores due to the types of roads I'm driving on (e.g if the roads have pot holes in/bumpy not soft) which is not my fault. As a result it's making my overall score fall loads. If I knew this was the case I would of searched for other insurance companies. Also the guy told me on the phone there's no time limits on when you can drive. However I found out that it actually makes my driving score worse if I drive between 11pm-5am.”
