Easy access to the app when it is working although the team are great at rectifying any problems I have, super cheap insurance!

- reasonable price compared to other blackbox/app insurers - more lenient with scores than other providers - poor customer service - app can be temperamental

When I started my policy with you guy I accidentally put in the wrong pass date on my licence, your team did everythink to help me, my policy did get cancelled over it but your agency helped me take out new policy with you guys and got everything sorted for me

I had no Choice but to choose Carrot Insurance, BUT it hasn’t ALL been bad. I have been intouch with the insurance company numerous times as my named drivers app hasn’t worked once, I was worried this would affect my over all insurance at the end of the year with mileage but Carrot have ensured me this is not a problem as I have reported it. Carrot gave me a £68 Amazon gift voucher for all the treats I have missed for the app not working which I think is brilliant. Carrot isn’t a great insurance company BUT for new drivers I could see why they would choose them.

USELESS! Cancelled my policy as new car, cheaper policy without black box. Claimed my points on an amazon voucher 6 days later. Chased this, was transferred to 3 different advisors, to be told I have to wait a few more days! Absolutely useless company and so unreliable.

It’s actually quite a good company, easy black box fitting as it is in your phone! Staff are very helpful, easy to figure out, only thing I don’t like is my app has been working for a couple of weeks, and the only way you can connect is through the live chat! However saying that the live chat is good as it narrows down your problems and connects you to the right person! It is very quick and easy and the staff member I spoke to was really easy going and helped me as much as he could! I actaully like the insurance company! Also after an accident they were very understanding and helped me so much to get what I deserved I would definitely give it 4/5 or 9/10 😊👍

Poor customer service system, live chat takes forever when I don’t have time to wait around for it and it took seven attempts on it to solve a problem with my wingman. I went a month without it working because of this which brings up concerns of me being blamed should anything go wrong. App is not good and records me walking even after I’ve parked which of course uses up valuable mileage. Not happy with this service and if it weren’t for the outrageous cancellation charges I’d no longer be with the company. The only positive thing is the price

Really impressed with Carrot. I have renewed for a third year! If you have a problem the customer service is great, especially the live chat, always someone on hand to help. The treats earned through the better driver app are a lovely perk! Keep doing what you’re doing carrot!
