Great insurance company and a good customer service

Carrot insurance is great for new drivers. This insurance gives you an incentive for improving your driving through rewarding you with vouchers! However after dealing with numerous queries, communication is quite poor. I received no direct contact when I was trying to deal with my claim.

The concept is excellent and works brilliantly. The customer service is also very good. I got myself a new phone and the person on the other side of the live chat reset the App in less than 10 minutes. The only downside there might be is if your phone doesn't connect to your car straight away - although I did not have this problem so cannot comment more. 10/10 would recommend.

The service is easy and the customer service is quite good the only let down is that the black box looks at how bumpy a journey is and I know it would be bad if you go fast over a speed bump but the roads in my area are very holey and in bad condition which gives me a bad score on my dashboard

After searching for a while for an insurer and not being too sure ho to go with, I am so glad that I chose Carrot. The customer service is excellent and really easy to use with the live chat. The advisors have been very helpful and resolved all of my queries. They are also very understanding when things haven't gone as planned. I'd certainly recommend Carrot for any first-time vehicle owners! Certainly one to trust that all will be in hand.

There is always an issue with the app. It can never track my journeys even though I follow all instructions and then the app always wants new photos even though all info has been provided

The customer service is always amazingly helpful. They always try their best to help even if they’re options are limited. The only downside to the policy is the phone app not being completely functional at all times but it does the job

Carrot insurance are a good company to go with if your in need of a black box, easy to set up yourself. Only problem is it can take a few hours to get through to talk to someone and some people are not helpful and don’t seem to want to help

Carrot insurance has been really helpful I have had a black box and if I have any inquiries about the scores then the live chat has been really helpful to find out information regarding the scores

The app doesn’t run correctly, it carries your journey for upto 12 hours and logs it as a minus score. You cannot physically talk to someone as it is all done on the live chat. In some ways, the live chat is great but some times you just need to physically talk to someone and to not even have the option is appalling! I’m really disappointed and have been mis-sold my insurance policy!

If I could give no stars I would! Asks for driver and named driver to continuously have Bluetooth on, and so recorded you in other cars , busses and trains. Absurd idea. They messed up on day one, having revireded my son driving when he was in fact in work and had been for three hours. No phone to call and speak to anyone. Want you to “live chat”. Completely amateurish. Pathetic, waste of a company. Please, please avoid. The “good” reviews are written by their own staff I’m certain. My son is cancelling after only one day with them. Big mistake on our part going for cheaper insurance. Rather pay extra for a proper company. I am livid.

Been awful to start with. Problem with the app so I got threatened for cancellation. Than they say my mum (named driver) has claimed when she hasn't. Crazy stuff this!

The live chat is a great feature to enable access to quick and reliable information. However, since taking out my policy I haven’t been able to access my dashboard once even after multiple attempts to change my login and I have spoken to members from the live chat and they were unable to help me. This is a huge let down for me as I’m unable to monitor my driving score which was one of the key factors of advertisement when I came across carrot insurance!

Overall good experience, tho I think app is not great, how it records speed bumps as not smooth driving is getting to me. I go through 10-12 speed bumps on my way to work and that impacts my score
