“Home insurance is a bind, but a necessity. This provider gave a competitive quote and was easy to do business with in regards to documentation and setting up the policy.
I have never claimed on my home or car insurance so I cannot comment on this aspect.”

“Found this company through confused.com got through to an agent believe his name was Terry he said I was through to the wrong department and couldn't get me off of the phone quick enough. Then was passed through to another agent named Andy who was extremely helpful and nothing was to much. I am a first timer in the world of insurance as I've just recently purchased a house so don't have much of an idea what I'm doing! If you want someone who's going to give you their time and patience explaining the ins and out to you, ask for Andy. Will hopefully be renewing next year!”

This year I phoned up got straight threw to a helpful chap by the name of 'Andy' he went through everything with me and made the process a hell of a lot easier than what it usually is! “I have bought an insurance policy with them and when I called for claim, the company that deal on their behalf clearly advised that my details do not exist and they will have to go back and check. I am still waiting.
The same with home emergency - unfortunately I have paid a year in advance and cant even back out but will sure think twice before using them again!!

“The Home Insurer mis sold us a policy. It was not the policy we clearly stated we needed. As a result of their mistakes we actually had no cover when we tried to make a claim. They have been less than honest in responses”
“Very poor service from this company. We cancelled the insurance, but they 'lost' the record of the conversation. We called several times to try and resolve and each time we were told that someone would get back to us. No one ever did get back to us, and the next thing was a very disturbing letter in the post threatening court action. I would not use this company again. If you d, I would record every call, and ensure that you get the name pf persons you speak with.”

“AVOID. After years of using this company with no issues I finally found myself making a claim when my partner had her smartphone stolen. It seems that my gadget cover had run out only a few days before the theft occurred, so when I made the claim they told me I wasn't insured. They said they'd notified me (but only via email) about the gadget insurance being removed, however despite trawling through my emails I found no record of it. You would think that for something as important as the removal of cover they would ensure a policyholder is made aware of this, eg. by picking up the phone or asking for a confirmation of the policy change. Despite being a loyal customer for many years they refused to budge on this issue. I took them to a financial ombudsmen without success, as the company had acted to the letter (though not, in my opinion, the spirit) of the law. Moral of this story; don't take any insurance out with this company.”
