Waste of time and money, read terms and conditions very closely before purchasing!! The company does not put you first, they are very crafty. After switching my car over I called up and they said they couldn't insure me on the new car, I said I would like to cancel and they suggested waiting for a new quote, 5 days later I called back and they said they was still waiting and would get back to me, another few days later I received an voicemail saying they had to cancel my policy, which is what I wanted in the first place. When calling back they then added the cost off £75 cancellation fees and the added part such as legal assistance etc are "non refundable" so now waiting on a big cancellation fee to arrive. And they cant cancel from the day I notified them that i didnt have the car as they have to read a script over the phone before they can do so. So basically I've been paying for a car I told them I didnt have and waiting weeks for them to find a quote, which even if I did I'd be over two weeks with no insurance, which on it's own is far too long to be uninsured. Minus the fact each time I've called it's been 35 minutes, 38 minutes and a final 28 minute on hold just to speak to a customer advisor. Would never advice anyone to use this service.

I had a policy for 4days and cancelled it they charged me £177 for the privilege which is daylight robbery I am not happy as customer service seems to be non existent so il be going to trading standards with this issue as it’s disgraceful way to treat people

NCI have stolen £84 from my refund. I cancelled within 6 days and they deducted an extra £84 from my refund. Absolute thieves, I am taking them to court. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

If you want good customer service, do not use this company. An unreasonable company and the staff rude, bully and have an arrogance about them and seem unwilling to help! pay little bit different get good customer services, they are not happy to cancel policy and not happy to deal case at ALL!!!!!This is the worst insurance company for me so far!!! Would not recommend!

Unfortunately I had used a GoCompare website and found NCI was the cheapest. I normally take out insurance three weeks before I need it to start. This way I can find the best deals. Unfortunately this time, I made a mistake. On 15th August I purchased the NCI car insurance and my policy is to start 5th September. On 16th August, I contacted via the telephone to cancel my car insurance as I wanted to purchase a new car. On the telephone I was advised that I would be charged over £50 to cancel a car insurance that I have not used to date. I am now seeking legal advise as I was not made aware throughout the sale process online the terms and conditions in regards to the cost of cancelling insurance before it commences. I do not want anyone to experience my negative customer service and purchase experience. Understand that this organisation is a broker and they therefore care about their costs first, not customer experiences. The terms and conditions are not clearly printed/stated on the compare website purchase portal. Therefore all, take time to search for the terms and conditions. I have learnt - a major lesson - you pay for what you get! Worst car insurance provider ever in terms of customer care - based on my experience.

Most greedy and money grabbing insurance, falsifying and ripping hard working people. Insured me for 25 days and charged me over £200 saying I got discount and what not. Over £200 for 25 days insurance what a joke and disgusting way to con hard working people. Do not buy from this insurance ever. Where is humanity gone and where are nice people gone??

1 star is too generous for these imcompetent people stubborn no customer loyalty dodgy as hell paid a deposit with the same card i tried to pay a 48 pound cancellation fee with but they gave me problems saying that card failed even though they accepted the deposit with them. Rubbish dodgy asking for more money admin fees of 35 pounds plus 22 pounds on top for the hell of it. STAY AWAY FROM BUYING INSURANCE FROM THESE SCAM ARTIST LYING USELESS GOOD FOR NOTHINGS!! Pay a little and go with trusted insurers like Churchill no problems at all ZERO STAR RATING STAY AWAY FROM NCI

Highly over priced, I take legal action against them due to misleading information of selling the product. They tried to take money twice on the same month from me while I was not aware of that. Avoid them at all costs!

Put through to 1call clame after 20 phone calls I ended up way out of pocket even though 3rd party accepted full responsibility will not ever even phone them or recommend eather of them

Had insurance for year/monthly payments made me sign the agreement and a day later they're cancelling my insurance and making me pay a cancellation fee? I've only just paid £260 to them and I haven't even been with them a week yet.

apsolutly discusting!!!! i had insure with them for 9 days, i needed to cancel i paid my 90 pounds disposit at first when i got the insurance, when i phoned up to see about canceling on day 6 they said thyey would ow me money 44 pounds then when i did cancel on the 9th day they said i owed them 13 pound! how can it go from on to the other in 3days?? they are the worst car insurance ever AVOID!!!!

I didn’t accept renewal of my policy as gone up 100%!!! No claims at all made last year! They happy to proceed cancellation but £50 charge. I have explained as I have no agreement for this year yet and as customers right I can step out of this and cover cost of cover for number of days used but NCI keep asking for £50 for cancellation of agreement when nothing in place. Keep away from this company and I’m sure pay out will be a same!!!!

Awful service. Have been asked question after question about my policy and supplied information for this and now because of NCI not informing myself of specific requirements my policy is now increased by £79 plus a crazy £40 admin fee. Will not be renewing! Not exaggerating honestly pay a little more to another insurer and avoid this like the plague
