“THE WORST CAR INSURANCE IVE EVER HAD. For starters they needed a lot of additional information on other named drivers which I had never had to do before. Every time I rang I seemed to be on the phone to the same guy who was just rude. I needed to cancel my car insurance as I had sold my car. Just over £100 to cancel which included the cancellation fee (fine) but a loss of earnings fee??? Never in all my time of driving nor anyone I know have had to pay a loss of earnings fee. I appreciate there is a cancellation fee as there is with most if not all insurance providers, but loss of earnings is just a complete lie. He argued on the phone when we questioned this which is not professional in the slightest. I’m convinced NCI is owned by this one guy sat in his parents box room. Never again will I use them and wish I had read reviews. All my insurance providers have been great especially 1st central, you can do everything online. DO NOT USE THESE THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN”

They say 55 pound deposit is non refundable and forced me to pay 55 pounds cancellation fee، they cancelled me insurance because I had non fault accident 4 years ago.”
“Took £350 off me then let me drive around for two days with no car insurance as had actually cancelled my car insurance or rather did not even bother to insure me.After three days of actually trying to speak to a human finally get hold of a rather rude agent who was actually far from human and told me I was going to be charged over £100 cancellation fee for insurance that was cancelled by the company ???you could not actually make this up barbaric heartless ruthless company now going to starve to death as to hand over £100 for nothing then have to pay another car insurance company has left me rather skint.Avoid this tin pot company and hold onto your sanity and cash”
“Crooks need closing down, reporting to trading standards, I saw the reviews after I started a policy, within an hour I cancelled trying to take the 37.00 deposit and an additional 62 cancellation fee, within a 14 day cooling Period customers are entitled to a full refund incurring no cancellation fee. Complete pond life not paying jog on.”
“They are so expensive and their so called insurance payouts are ridiculously low. An utter rip off. I will never use them again but unfortunately need to carry on as I’ve been with them 13 years. They now charge me SO much a month as my pet is 13. I’ve had to claim £604 recently - they’ve given me £177 of that claim back. This is only my 2nd claim in 13 years. Never again.”
“After six and half years of being a customer with NCI Pet insurance, I feel I have been treated very poorly. I got an email in May to say that they had made an error on my account ( 61/2 years earlier), and that my payments were somehow in arrears. They put together a payment plan expecting me to pay £592 over a 6 week period! I am not querying the figure owed , but phoned customer service to say that I needed this amount spread over a 6 month time frame, not an unreasonable request as none of this has been my fault. I explained over numerous calls that to keep to their payment schedule would cause me considerable financial hardship, and unbelievably they have done nothing to help me. On this basis I really cannot recommend this company - their customer care is zero rated in this instance.”

“NCI quoted my daughter £140.00 a month agreed by an email they sent her. Today they tried to take £340.00 out of her bank. She phoned they were rude and said it was their mistake but she would have to pay it. She said she couldn't afford it. Shes a hairdresser and doesn't earn that sort of money. The woman cancelled her insurance and said she has to pay £3000.00 cancellation fee. Disgusting dreadful company. Steer clear .They make the rules up as they go along. Still have the email agreement so hopefully can get some advice”

“The same as others have said below happened to me too. Put my bill up after the cooling off period from £70 to £120 o if I wanted to cancel it would of been over £400 which I simple do not have in a pandemic on furlough. I told them I couldnt afford that much a month but they didn't care. Barely used my car because of being on furlough and recieved no money back like other insurers have. Glad my contracts coming to an end so I can finally leave.”
