AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HELP. First issue with them was I believed I had 2 years no claims when sending over my list of no claims I discovered I had an extra year no claims. When the price was recalculated my premium went up? And I was charged an admin fee!! Tried to send an email FIVE times discussing this with proof from my previous insurer and all 5 emails were ignored, even though they claim email is their first point of contact and main form of communication. SECOND AND MAIN ISSUE. I recieved a device to connect via and app to record my driving. When I received this device I was on holiday, when I returned on the 13th I had a letter stating if it wasn't connected by the 20th my insurance would be cancelled. By the 15th the device was connected and as far as I was aware was recording as the light was blue. Wise driving claim it wasn't working on their end, and I needed to phone them to confirm it was working. NO WHERE did it state this. I work away from home and I'm out the country weekly, so my cars parked up and not being driven a great deal of the time. So I hadn't taken the time to look into all my driving scores as it had been less then a month. On my first journey when I checked how the dash board works it told me I had only driven 80 miles and for accurate scores need to drive 200 miles. As far as I was aware the device was working and connected. On the 2nd of October I recieve an email saying my policy has been cancelled and I have been charged an extra £75 for this cancellation fee. I had no reminder or warning apart from the one email, which after this I connected my device!!! All was fine. I recieved one letter on the day my insurance was cancelled the 21st September stating it had been cancelled. Now as I said, email is the first form of communication with this company and I work abroad, so my post couldn't be opened for me to be aware. The team were less then helpful, with no resolution or answers as to why my numerous emails were ignored or why I only had the one email of notice, my insurance has been cancelled purely down to lack of communication and a potentially faulty device. But the insurance company are a scam and I wouldn't want to be insured by them now anyway, but the most frustrating thing is now I need to declare a cancelled policy. Meaning most companies won't touch me and my insurance has gone up by over £1000! I was insured with this company 10 days and they've taken my quotes up by a grand. Requested repeatedly to speak to a manager and was refused just put on hold. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!! Not worth a single star

Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with! Customer service is awful! Lady told me to hold my documents until I got my black box installed because the man wouldn’t fit the black box without the log book. So then they said they needed a up to date address of my log book but gave me a deadline of the 1st of October, so this gave me a week to send if of and get it back with the updated address on which they knew wouldn’t happen! So they basically took £800 then gave me a ridiculous time frame then cancelled my policy. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go with this company!

Complete scam artists. was quoted £115 a month for insurance and tried to drive as sensibly as possible, but my score was marked low every time. my premiums then tried to go up to £340 a MONTH so I cancelled my policy. I just got an email saying I now owe them £358 to cancel my policy even though the cancellation fee is only £75. Avoid this company at all costs. It cant be long until they are shut down as they constantly are ripping of customers. complete scam.

absoloute waste of time. Been on the phone everyday for over 2 weeks now trying to sort out a proof of 2 years no claims. when asked to speak to someone higher like a manager they refused. Caused a lot of stress and had to take time out of my working day to ring up. This issue isn't getting sorted and I'm in fear of my policy being cancelled even though I've done everything I can sending evidence.

Avoid this company at all cost. Nothing but stress and false information when cancelling a policy. Consumer service to them is speaking to you like a child. Left on hold for over 30mins with no information as to why.

Absolutely disgusting company! I changed my car to a bmw, within 24 hours changed it back to a fiat as their was problems with the bmw so I had to send it back wise driving decided to put my fiat up from £133 to £225 a month even though I changed it back to my original car within the 24 hour cooling off period and plain blank refused to put me on to a manager or put my premium back to the original price, they insisted within 24 hours the cost in my 2010 fiat had risen £100 and as I refused to pay this ridiculous price they cancelled my policy !! A joke steer clear !!

Also their cancellation fee is £75 compared to an average of £45 with others. Their initial payment is £155 compared to £65 with others. Strategic legal scam.

AVOID this company at any cost. One they don't give you the standard cancellation time as required by the financial conduct authority. they only give you 24 hours unlike the industry standard of 14 days. Two, the black box need to be installed onto your car by removing the carpet and drilling (3 holes), which will have impact on the value of your car. They seem to be cheap but get the money out of you in many ways and trust me you will end up paying more than a higher quotes you may find elsewhere. this is the 21st century utilising gaps on the rules and weakness of consumers. They make money out of consumers misjudgement and mistake than giving service. Better to go to other professional and ethical companies than short term money grabbing opportunist companies like this one. AVOID. Also even though they don't give you time to cancel they take 14 days to refund your money.

Yet again you’ve taken the money you should have NOT taken ive had enough you’ve left me with no money to feed my kids we you was not supposed to take the money and you have I will be taking this further I want to speak to the main manager or wise driving cos this is a joke now and it seems like your jus running me around in circles now I’m going to be over drawn on my bank now which is down to you lot again how many times do you have to mess me about seriously

I’ve paid my insurance on time every time and wise insurance has took more money out on several occasions leaving me with no money to pay my rent or even feed my kids and all they say is sorry well sorry isn’t good enough sorry ent guna pay my rent sorry ent guna feed my kids all I can say is don’t go with wise they are a complete joke and they don’t even seem to be bothered to help you out all they think of is them selves I advise no one to go with this company everything to customer service is apauling it’s a joke

Extremely AWFUL service when cancelling my insurance with them due to no longer having the car. Constantly being told I would be contacted back regarding multiple issues they caused with cancelling my insurance yet no one would contact me and I'd have to try and get hold of them - and trsut me they don't make that easy !!

Really bad insurance company, I've been with them for a year know, had an incident in my car THAT WAS NOT MY FAULT! My car was parked on a street near my work and a lorry hit it, I was in work at the time so no where near my car. It has come to renewal and they have held back my 1 years no claims. Mr premium has hardly changed and they are refusing to give me my NCD for 2 months in case the other driver claims for an injury? how can they claim if I was no where near the car?? It's his stupid fault! There's apparently no way around it and I've just got to wait for them to give me my NCD back! I'm a young driver so paying so much already, that NCD makes a big difference and helps a lot. I will be taking this complaint further as I feel like I am being penalised for something that's not my fault. I will be going to the financial ombudsman to see there views on the matter. I would appreciate it if someone can get back to me as soon as possible, I did try and call this morning to speak to the renewals team but was on hold for over 20 minutes to speak to someone! Terrible Service!

Also slapped with paying £2k (took out insurance at 4k per year) although as I got involved in an accident and had my insurance cancelled I now have to pay out the remainder of the insurance amount and I'm not even insured anymore!!! I will be using the £2k to take them to court if anything.

Cancelled my insurance as score fell below 30. Given 200 miles to correct my score (near enough impossible!!!!!) Will be seeking legal advice.

Where do I start! My fiancé has been messed about something chronic. I am absolutely disgusted in the customer service we have received from them. First of all they wouldn’t accept his one years no claims even after submitting it 2 times which then put his monthly cost up £60. We then wanted to change the car on the policy as his broke down, we weren’t once given an exact price it would go up to and they refused to give us one! We then received a letter saying it had gone up to £335 a month, from £109!!! I mean look at all these reviews, you must think we are stupid if you think we will stand for this, we only wish we had read them sooner. We have then gone to cancel this policy as soon as we were aware and you have told us it will cost another £235 for cancelling after taking out £169 out of our account and not giving us that months insurance or refunding it. I am absolutely apauled, you have brought my family nothing but distress!! You will receive my formal complaint very shortly as we will now be seaking leagal advice, so to anyone who wants advice don’t go anywhere near this company!! It is unprofessional and basically a scam.

If I could give 0 stars I would. All I want to do Is cancel my policy as I’m paying £1000 more a year than i would with another company I’ve just called to cancel but can not give me a set price and now I can’t cancel for another 3 days Due to my monthly payment hasn’t gone through on their side although was taken from my bank on the 10th. Absolutely awful customer service not they useful at all. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Hi, We're sorry to read how you feel in regards to the experience you've had. When a monthly payment is taken it can take up to 7 days to clear from your bank into the funders. You're able to cancel at anytime however our finance team will be unable to work the accounts and give a cancellation cost until the funder confirm that the payment has cleared or not. This is because they need to caculate the total amount paid against the total cost of the insurance. My premium insurance was increased because I WASN'T driving the car. They claimed the price was increased because of driving behaviour which I couldn't verify because their system wasn't showing me any data... After 2 years, unfortunately, wisedriving let me down.

You are in the process of threatening my family friend for over £2000,for a policy they don't have which was cancelled wilh the cancellation fee paid,so I've informed them to get a solicitor which I will fund,you people are disgusting you need closed down robbing people So parents Beware and keep AWAY from this disgusting company

My son took out a policy which linked his phone to a telematics device. He put his phone in the washing machine which meant he had to get a new phone. He downloaded the app on new phone, saw blue lights on the telematics showing all was OK. He was then warned his policy would be cancelled, which it was due to telematics not transmitting data. He now can't get affordable insurance due to technical issues beyond his control. Very bad, expensive mistake going with wisedriving.

Due to a genuine mistake on my part my insurance was cancelled, I couldn’t pay over the weekend as the office was closed. When I rang to pay the finance company agreed to continue my insurance only to be told by WiseDriving that they couldn’t reinstate it. This has left me without insurance and a much higher premium due to a misunderstanding about direct debit dates.
